So, it seems like that 75 million that Zuckerberg donated really did a lot to help better SF General... Except for not. Seems like they just used that funding to add a bunch of artwork, sculptures and tile mosaics. So they made the hospital more beautiful to look at... But it doesn't seem like they made it more functional. Was at urgent care first thing, there was only one patient who got signed in before me... And get it took almost two hours to see a doctor. On a prior occasion I was in the waiting room for the ER for literally six hours before I decided to just go home bc the injury I had had stopped bleeding and was too old to safely do stitches on.

Refused to give me antibiotics or to do imaging of my face when I had an abscess clearly spread to my jaw. I had just had a seizure in the car and couldnt control my facial muscles. They treated me like a room number taking up a bed. I tried using sign language to communicate to them because it hurt too badly to speak and they treated me like a tweaker.
I was discharged after several hours of sleeping and taking up a bed with no compassion or real treatment.

Very bad experience, I went there more than four times, it gets worse and what happens after that? The doctor says what should I do for you and the nurse treats me badly. It is the worst hospital ever. But if you go to the emergency room only, you have to wait in line. for an hour and then wait four hours. Imagine this in the emergency room, meaning emergency cases.

Usually I get good to great help at this hospital but today was the worst sad to say. I was turned away from getting any kind of help today. I have horrible lower back pain and neck pain. I have a workman's comp case but the doctor's haven't been able to do anything for me and they were close by the time I got there so that's why I went to Zuckerberg urgent care. But I was turned away and told to just wait and go the workman's comp doctor tomorrow and try to deal with my pain.

Let 's review. I developed a lump on my right shoulder. I went to urgent care and was told it was an abcess. No doctors were available so I was to come back on a Monday when they would drain it and perform a biopsy.
I came back and the doctor said it was a cyst and we should "Let it see what it does".

It continued to bother me, I returned and was told nothing could be done because it looked infected and was told to return. I asked, "What if it explodes?" She assured me it would not. Three days later, it exploded.

I was scheduled for surgery, but since it had exploded, I should wait at least another month for treatment. Meanwhile I have received a bunch of bills and I still have the remnants of the cyst/abcess. It's obvious I can't afford medical care. I will be keeping these remnants and I I'm calling them "Sweet Billy". I never received the bopsy!

A fantastic experience here. I was traveling from Boston in San Francisco for a conference and had a very soar throat and cough and looked at urgent care reviews. This seemed like the best. I went to the location at the hospital so can only speak about that one. I take was super efficient and friendly. Dr. Chaithra Nagar Was excellent — listened carefully, explained everything. Asked several times if I had questions helped me find a convenient pharmacy, followed up by phone when had test results, made sure my pharmacy in Boston had the anti-viral prescription. Josephine, the nurse who did initial screening, was excellent — thorough, professional and responsive. The digital platform, MyChart, was easy to use. You all are very fortunate to have that hospital, Dr. Nagar and Josephine in your community. A personal thank you for the wonderful and caring assistance.

Absolutely horrible place they let their nurses get away with ableism meet Marcus my last nurse while I was waiting for to be admitted he came into my room with my doctor standing there yelling at me saying he was not going to help me because apparently people who can walk also aren't incontinent cuz that's logic I also had a nurse turn off my call light like unplug it from the wall so I could not use it that is negligence

Went here on 6.8.2022. The intake process was very organized and each person at each step would give clear instructions on what to do. The nurses and physicians were very thorough in their explanations and asked me lot of questions, especially if I had any questions to ask them. I felt heard and taken care of. They ordered me an x-ray test, blood tests, COVID test, and helped cross off any possible sources of illness.

I had a great time here and would be coming back here again if I ever get sick again.
