My experience with YRMC was nothing short of phenomenal. From the security guard all the way to the janitor. The whole staff were very professional, friendly and helpful in any questions I had. They took care of me as if I was someone in their immediate family and I believe that’s how everyone should be treated and should feel like. Can’t thank YRMC enough for taking care of me. To all the nurses that helped and cared for me while I was in their care. I appreciate you all. To Alexander (Alex), Sean (fellow brother in arms) and Donna (Pre-Op RN), Donna gave me some paperwork on what was going to happen before and after the kidney stone operation. Which I really appreciate. Gave me a sense of clarification on the whole process.

I had no appt. and was in and out in about 30 minutes, which I thought was great. Their xray machine was much fancier than I am accustomed to, and the technician was very kind and efficient. My overall experience was very positive.

The customer service was absolutely the worst I’ve had in a medical office, ever! I want to be clear that this is a reflection of the front desk staff only. Paola C at the front desk was very rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I was in with 3 orders in my hand and handed it to the first young lady I see. She grabs all three and tells me they will be with me shortly. Then Paola calls me over to start the check-in process. Completely rude from the very beginning. In the middle of the process she asked, so you only have 2 orders? I say no, it’s 3. She says, well I only have 2. I told her I handed all three to the other lady, she shrugs her shoulders and said well I only have 2. I say, ok can you ask the other lady if she still has the other one. She shrugs again and says, she left to lunch.
I should not be telling the staff how to perform their job. To the patient, all staff is considered one. I cannot be worried if one didn’t pass the paper or order to the other.
We were then waiting on a fax for 2 more orders. She tells me, the faxes are not here. I said ok, let me call them to see if they sent them. I call and the other location confirmed the fax was successfully sent and even received confirmation that it went through successfully. I tell Paola and she extremely rudely shrugs her shoulders as to tell me, it’s not my problem. She said they’re not here. Didn’t even get up to check the fax machine or anything. I was so angry and frustrated at this point. I asked her, what do you want me to do? She said, it’s up to you, whatever you want to do.
I have never received this type of customer service at a medical office. She did not explain any of the consents she wanted me to sign and most definitely did not provide any copies. I am completely unsatisfied with the level of service being provided by her.
As for the procedure, the back office was very efficient, polite, and professional. It was quick and easy once we got through the front desk.

It was a great experience. From the time I walked there the door. I was pleasantly greeted and service was prompt. Also didn't have to wake long to be seen and imagery taken. I was in and out in less than 30mins. To top it all I was a walk in. Great experience
