Nocatee YMCA is one of the BEST fitness and community centers I have ever experienced. The staff is courteous, and the instructors are excellent. I feel so fortunate to be a member.

I recently started going to the YMCA and so far everything has been nice. Instructors for group classes are super nice. However, gym area has some issues. Confirming some of the other reviews, I also noticed there are many teenagers and literal children walking around taking up all the space. I am a young adult, 20, and I understand the need of other young people to wanting to take care of their bodies, however, if this means not respecting other people and taking up the space while doing absolutely nothing, then something needs to change. I even heard from a friend of mine who takes classes here that some teenagers even tried to cause trouble during those classes as well, which is not acceptable at all.

Another concern of mine is the hygiene of this place. As far as I see the place is clean and they provide wipes for you to be able to clean the machines but I doubt that some people even do that. I have been sick for a week and still in the process of recovering. Considering that I have been only going to the gym for the past 2 months, I am suspicious of the cleanliness of this place. Because it is more likely to get a flu from here people sweating and not cleaning after themselves.

I really like this place and I love the instructors. However, if the management doesn't do anything to take these things under control, I will have to reconsider coming here.

This YMCA is as good as you make it. The classes are awesome, and can provide an excellent pathway to better health. Use the App and take advantage of the experienced staff and excellent programs.

Good gym but no pool. Lots of young people. Very good staff. Excellent customer service from the manager.

My experience is fine at the Y...however I find the hours of service unacceptable. Especially on Sunday. Most people over the age of 40 want to get their work out in prior to 11 am on the weekend.

I hope that Heather will stay with us. Just like Leah (the previous instructor for the Thursday Body combat), Heather is energetic and consistently helps us grow. I do not want to lose her from the class.

Very limited hours and too crowded for a relatively hefty monthly fee. Planet Fitness is a far better facility and value.

Nice equipment helpful trainers, a great view from the gym. I love the Y. It's my favorite place to sit on the excercise machine and look at cat videos while people are waiting to use it. Just kidding, but it is some people's. I have been a member of alot of gyms and usually it's get a set in and let someone work in, here alot of people will do a set and sit there posting that they went to the gym today while everyone is waiting to work in. Not trying to be ugly, but maybe a little consideration please.
