Today, The receptionist called me to schedule an appointment. I have anxiety and I wanted to find a Urologist who would make me feel more comfortable than a previous visit with a different doctor. The receptionist made me feel so embarrassed for asking for a different doctor. She exclaimed that they were the best and that if i went anywhere else, I'd never be allowed back. this was one of the rudest receptionists I have ever spoken to in my life. I've never canceled an appointment so quickly in my life. You will never have me come into your office whenever you treat me like that with no respect. And two, this is a sensitive and private area. I already dont feel comfortable...Why on earth would you make me feel bad for asking to have somebody different look at me there? Yall are gonna catch a lawsuit.

Was told by Dr. Farhi that kidney stone not causing my pain, although 2nd trip to ER and CT scan revealed otherwise. Asked to switch to a different doctor and had contacted them 3 times since. Asked to speak to someone in management and the reply was my request will be forwarded to management. Their managers can't speak with us common folk?! One month later - still nothing. Just moved on to another urology group.

Dr. King and her associates are helping me so much with my incontinence issues. She listens to all my concerns and now we have a plan to improve my problem. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Lui cut me off before I could even explain my symptoms and when they started. Wrote everything off as muscle pain, even with things saying other wise on scans. Just not “concerned enough” to him so he wrote me off.

I’m beginning to believe that all of the negative reviews are correct. I have been referred to Woodlands from Acension. Acension has sent the approved referral to Woodlands twice. I’ve called Woodlands three times now. The 2nd call I was placed on hold so long, I hung up. I was on hold a long time on the third call but was finally able to speak with someone. I’ve spoken with someone named Ashley who says that even though Acension may have sent the referral electronically, it is not showing up yet. I don’t understand how an electronic transmission can not be seen immediately. I’m starting to wonder if I need to ask Acension to refer me to a different medical practice.

Update: I received a call today from Woodlands, at which time they scheduled my appointment. I’ve upgraded my review from 1 to 3 stars, and if my experience continues to improve after this bumpy start, I’ll be happy to update my review again. Thank you.

Update: I had my first appointment at Woodlands and I am very happy with my experience. I only had to wait a few minutes, and Sean Tolbert was absolutely wonderful. Thank you.

Little pissed today. Came in for mri and labs. Wasn't in the system. Urology up stairs didn't put my appt in the most important system. The one that imaging uses. So now my mri and dr got moved to a later date. Was loud enough for the lobby to hear. Wanted to make sure everyone knows to go down stairs and check with imaging b4 you leave. Waste of gas and my time. Disrupted my and my wife's time. I got punished. Where is the rear Chewing of the person who screwed up? I overheard imaging say Urology does this all the time. So train down stairs ladies. PLEASE

I'm going to start off with my only negative comment I have. I had a biopsy on 12 June the results are in the office this was confirmed last Wednesday when I called the office. It's now what 10 or 11 days since biopsy and no one can give me an answer. I know this is very routine for you folks you do it day In and day out but it can be agonizing for your patients. I just want an answer either way. Its my biopsy done on my body i have a right to know. Ok end of that rant. You still get a 5 and here is why. Dr. Wolther and staff have been great. The two visits plus the surgical center biopsy went smooth. Those people in the surgery center were the best. Everyone was kind and considerate of my needs as a patient and they even called me in early, that never happens! Nothing hurt at all except starting the IV but I knew it would I'm a hard stick and it always does. That's why I wished the nurse good luck when she said she was going to start my IV LOL. Trust me IV nurse it happens every time i need an IV no reflection on her. Everyone I've had contact at Woodlands has been great and I appreciate the job well done.

I wish I could have remembered the last two ladies I spoke with because I sure would’ve mentioned their names. However I’m very angry. Sacred heart sent a referral for me due to extreme bladder pain. I’ve been in pain for more than a week now and I’ve been trying to call this office and every time I call I get hung up on. The First Lady I spoke with before I can even get a sentence out, she put me on hold without saying anything and then the call hung up. Then I called again and I think it was the same lady and she realized it was me and hung up again. I called once again and I was able to talk to one lady and in an annoyed tone she said I had to have a referral which was sent and mind you my tone was nice and I was actually confused. As soon as I started to talk again I was hung up on. I know they are doing this on purpose. I really need to be seen and I want to speak to their corporate. Or whoever is head over their staff.
