Wings and Things is a cozy neighborhood sports bar located in Sarasota,FL. Walking in, you get a wonderful welcoming feeling as if you just belong! I imagine they have several regulars that probably frequent there. It has a Cheers vibe! We visited during lunch. They have awesome lunch specials! I ordered 8 Cajun Wings with broccoli and cheddar soup. Y'all please don't sleep on their homemade soup! That broccoli and cheddar soup was 🔥 🔥 🔥! It had me doing a finger lick at the bottom of the bowl! The wings were of good size. However, the flavor was somewhat bland. They would've been better if the chicken were seasoned prior to cooking and then tossed in the sauce. I believe they were probably fried plain and then tossed in the sauce. But don't take that comment to mean their sauce is bland. The sauces are very good! I'm told the fries abd draft beer were great as well! If I lived in this area, this would be a place I would patron on a regular basis!

I frequent this small sports bar because of its proximity to my house and I have found menu items I love. With that said, I recommend you try their homemade chili, and their potato skins. Their chili is better than you’ll have anywhere else. Their potato skins are like little baked potatoes. I like to ask for extra sour cream and chives for both, as you may see in the video. I always sit at the bar and enjoy myself either a Jai Alai IPA from Cigar City Brewing in Tampa, or the Calusa Zote IPA, out of Sarasota. Service is always okay, but don’t expect a fine dining experience, as this has a smaller town feel to it and more informal way of doing things. Not to say service will be slow, but tame your expectations. Of course, their wings are also about as good as you can find anywhere else and come highly recommended. Personally, I have my wing place and it usually isn’t here. They do have 99 cent wings on certain days. Check their social media to be sure. All in all, the 5 stars from me have been earned.

This is the best place i have found so far for wing quality! Each time I go, I try a different wing sauce or rub and haven't been disappointed! The service is excellent and the atmosphere is very homey and family friendly.

We were looking for delicious wings and Sunday football. They had both. It was packed for football but the service was still great! All tvs labeled so you can watch your game. And amazing food! Thighs were enough for two. Boneless wings great. And delicious tots!

Mike was in point with great service as always. He pretty much himself took care of the entire restaurant and is was packed. Great family owned and operated business. One of the greatest families I have ever met that would give you the shirts of their backs. Please go support this wonderful locally owned business. You won't be disappointed.

Burgers over-cooked again. I know why, and it wasn't I who said stupid things causing the entire table to suffer. For this reason, I won't be back. So we're clear: One person at our table said something stupid, the chef over-cooked ALL of our burgers. Been eating here since 2007. No more.

Beer is the only alcohol, just FYI. Just exercise a little patience when waiting for your stuff.

Best wings in town. One of the better Bucs bars. Jonhnie A1 and always on it. No liquor so if that’s what you’re looking for this isn’t the spot. Beer only. Service is great, food great.
