Dr Markowski is absolutely the best surgeon I have ever seen. He works to find the best alternatives for you. For the last 5 years, surgery wasn’t an option he suggested. He always said, you will know when you are ready. I am ready and he is working hard to explain everything to me and my wife. I couldn’t ask for better treatment and caring.

I've been seeing Dr Markowski for several years for my knees and although I needed knee replacement he didn't "force" me to have the surgery but waited till I was ready to have it done. When I was, the whole process was like a fine tuned machine! From the scheduling to discharge after surgery it went very smoothly. The office had all the equipment for recuperating I needed either already at home or it was sent home with me from the hospital. Home Health people were scheduled and were also amazing! I dreaded the surgery but Dr Markowski and his staff made it as painless as possible in more ways than one! I highly recommend Dr Markowski to anyone who needs to see an orthopedic surgeon.

I really enjoyed my office visit to Bluewater Orthopedics. Dr. Markowski was so gracious and not rushed at all. He diagnosed my condition after some x-rays & viewing an MRI disc I brought along. He gave great information synopsis of what is going on and 'what-ifs'.
The office was nice, great location and the office staff were all so welcoming! I was quickly in a treatment room, having done all pre-visit paperwork ahead of visit day. I didn't have a long wait in a treatment room, either. I was given a next appointment just as quickly at exit. I love that it didn't take up any big amount of time! I was in and out in 40minutes max. The doctor's assistant set the tone, taking me back for x-rays, making sure my sore arm isn't moved. The whole visit was such a relief and I feel in good hands here. A great office if you need an Orthopedic visit, either in Crestview or Destin... The Niceville office is great, as well... being new to Florida, it was very beautiful area! I rec'd great care at both locations! It's nice when you need an appointment you have options at other locations.

There is a nice roomy waiting lobby with a variety of seating choices. You have a choice of checking in on-line before you arrive or after you get there. If you need assistance they are very nice about helping out. The hallways and doorways to the rooms are nicely wide even for extra wide walkers. The nurses are helpful and efficient.
Dr. Markowski really listens to your problems, knows where to zero in, and what tests are needed. From the results he explains what options are open and likely to be helpful. Then the two of you (or three, if you share with a caregiver) come up with a treatment plan. With each repeat treatment he will check your progress to see if the treatment is working out.
I'm very pleased with my progress here and the friendliness and courtesy of the staff.
