Great experience at the UAB eye doctor there. It's typically optometry students who do your appointment. I was there for 2 hours which is a bit long but to be expected at the health department. They ran a lot of different tests which I'm grateful they did, more thorough than a typical eye exam. I qualified for a free pair of glasses, most of the glasses selection are very plain but they're free so can't complain. Overall, very glad we went here for our yearly eye exam.

The maternity staff are so kind, attentive, and very accommodating. Typically I’m in and out within an hour including wait time, drawing blood/taking BP, and consultations. Scheduling/rescheduling appointments so far have been quick and easy. They have SIGNIFICANTLY improved in the 3 years since I’ve last visited, when I was pregnant with my first. I’d rate higher if I could.

Had to take my boys to dental appointments on the same day at the same time. The staff was so friendly and comforting as I had apologized several times for having to bring them all by myself. One lady even rocked my 5 month old while I had to hold one of the other boys. Even though I wasn't impressed by a simple brushing of their teeth with a regular toothbrush and some coating the dentist reassured me that at their age, that is all they needed. My other son goes Friday so HOPEFULLY he gets more done than brushing with a regular toothbrush

They scheduled me on memorial Day it was closed. Had my proxy come back because I had just had my baby the next day and he couldn't pick up because my baby was born. Waited over an hour and had two people called back that came in after me for my appointment and had to leave because he is breast fed and there is no space with kids running around for that. Asked to reschedule and it's rescheduled for two weeks. I asked does it typically take over an hour and she said yes sometimes 3. This does not encourage breast feeding at all. The nutritionist were just walking around behind the registration counter so it makes you wonder what's really going on. The lady the registered me was really rude and obviously did not want to be there. This was my second appointment. My first was a really nice lady in registration called back within 30 minutes and out before an hour. How in the world are they allowed to get away with this stuff?

If you would like to be more discreet about your visit, call the number posted on the waiting rooms right away and skip the reception area. There’s security literally listening and gawking at you while you ask questions and the receptionist won’t care if you would like to be discreet

Hard to get an appointment with a family planning doctor. They said the best chance is on Fridays but, that's one day out the week and you might not get an appointment still. Maybe a too over crowded clinc since they closed the other clinics near by.

My Sister use to go there .. at Western Health center and the Nurses and Doctor was kind..
The wait time was Nice ok I can say.. the Building yes I Loves tht.. but thm Stairs.. But I will Appreciate if thy. Will take us My Family as a Client in With Special care
