Found this great optometry office with really nice glasses and sunglasses so I treated myself to some amazing Chanels and will come back to have my new glasses prescription made into Tom Ford glasses! The staff here were super helpful and very nice, no one was pushy which was great considering what I wanted was so fancy! I also love supporting small businesses that are family owned so another plus! Do yourself as favor and bring your glasses prescription here! Highly recommended!!

First time patient and I have to say the experience was great! Making the appointment was easy and the young lady who took my call was very nice and accommodating. My appointment was with Doctor Magdato who was very patient, answered all my questions and explained everything in great detail. I went with his recommendation and selected a pair of glasses to help me with the long hours I spend looking at the computer at work.

The young lady who helped me with selecting the frames was very knowledgeable and friendly. Once I found a pair, I placed the order and after two weeks I got them in.

So happy with my new glasses! Definitely recommend this place if you’re in need of an exam or looking for glasses.

I've been coming to west village optometrist before they moved from Montclair to Claremont.
I transferred my prescription to warby parker because of their insane covid pricing. Ive always paid cash, and i have never paid $1500.00 for eyewear. But that is what they wanted me to pay during covid. Terrible customer service at that point. Then today I wanted to bring my prescription back to west village optometrist to see If their customer service has improved, it has not! I was refused the prescription transfer & service for sun glasses, contacts, and frames. I recommend another optometry

This optometrist office was referred to us by a friend because of the great selection of designer glasses they and the great care we got from the doctors! Dr. Nudta is an exceptional optometrist who takes her time and is really knowledgeable! Dr. Tran is also amazing and really cares about her patients! The staff that helped us pick our glasses were also great, super patient with us and found us great styles! Highly recommend to everyone who appreciates excellent customer service!

I’ve been coming to West Village Optometry for over 15 years and won’t even consider another optometry center even though I live 50 miles away.
Their selection of frames is unparalleled to any store around with designer frames ranging from Chanel (the largest selection I’ve seen), Tom Ford, Gucci, D&G.. They have so much to choose from.
The staff is always so warm and friendly, they’re FANTASTIC at following up and keeping orders on track.
The doctors there are exceptional and go above and beyond. Dr. Magdato handles both my parents as well. We love coming to him because he’s gotten to know our family history and has even made recommendations to follow up with our primary care (my mother and I both suffer from thyroid issues). I’ve never met a doctor as caring and concerned about my family to make sure we are getting the best care. We will go no where else!

Went to them for a few years and every visit came with an enormous amount of pressure to buy everything (contacts, glasses, etc.) from their store. The selection is basic and the prices are high, so I always chose not to, but the clearks would literally pout, tsktsk, and refuse to release prescriptions before giving long winded sales pitches. This sort of customer service is really off-putting to me from what should primarily be a doctor's office, not a glasses store. My husband tried to get some frames of his resized and they guilt tripped him about it, because the frames were a brand they don't carry.

My last interaction included them "not finalizing" my contact prescription, so I could not get them replaced. They billed my insurance for the visit, however, so now I can't claim those benefits for another year. I was never sent any information about needing to finalize anything. I had to call, email, and text their office several times to get my prescription records only to find out from other providers that the prescription isn't valid because it's written incorrectly.

Time to find a new optometrist who will treat me like a patient, not a customer.

I had a great experience with the office staff and the Optometrist. The office is warm, modern, and welcoming. The selection of designer glasses is fantastic. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. The Optemetris was kind, caring, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. I highly recommend this office!

Christina was super friendly and professional. Made me feel welcomed and like family. They weren't long and assisted me with my regular exam and eyewear recommendations. The entire team and eye Dr were awesome as well.
