Have been a patient with this group for years, first with Dr. Acosta (retired), currently with Dr. Baez. Both treated me with interest and compassion. The staff has always been helpful. There have been some issues but always resolved. Having adequate insurance coverage helps greatly. Would recommend Dr. Baez without hesitation.

First time I went to see Dr. Monisola Oni was for a check up and med check so I thought. I take one pill a day for RLS it hasn’t changed in 30 years same pill same dosage same time every day for 30 years. She immediately started in on me about getting this test that test blood test. I tried to explain to her that I didn’t have insurance and that we were on a fixed income so she sent me to get blood work done OK fair enough she needs to have blood work done little did I know that all the test that she ordered was going to be well over $1000. I felt like she was completely insensitive to the fact that we are on a limited income there’s no way that I was going to come up with $1000 for routine bloodwork. So I had to pick and choose what test I could afford and that were necessary. Had a blood test done and took it to her office so she could fill my prescription. again was on me about having multiple test done even though I was trying to tell her that I feel just fine the one and only issue that I thought that I wanted to talk to her about she Immediately said I have to Refer you to a specialist. That was not going to happen. She filled my meds for six months. I just got done paying that bill and now she will not fill my prescription unless I come into the office again six months later . I feel like I am not being treated like a person but instead like a patient number. I am finding a new medical facility and doctors and hopefully I will find one that actually treats me like a human. Hopefully find a doctor that has been taught bedside manner and compassion for people less fortunate than herself.

My first appointment as a new patient, I told them I has a cough from asthma and chronic sinusitis. They ask if I've been around anyone with Covid I said I really haven't been out of my house in two years. Reception went back to talk to Doctor and said they had to reschedule my appointment. Mind you I was there as a new patient and to get help for my asthma attacks. This was with Dr. Oni. I will be seeing Dr. Diaz next week

I love Dr. Diaz and had a Facetime appointment with him last night at 4- he was an hour late, so I saw him at 5. My tonsils are infected, swollen, red and covered with spots and I am feeling worse by the minute. He calls in a prescription but, as it was late, I decided to give the pharmacy until this morning to pick it up.
I arrived early to Publix Pharmacy and waited for them to open at 9. First in line.

When they finally opened, there was a problem with my prescription. As the pharmacist was trying to explain, his boss came over and aggressively ‘man-splained’ the issue (and she was a woman) to the point that it almost sounded as if it were my fault. The other pharmacist then told me that he couldn’t fill it until my doctor corrected the issue and said he would call then asked me to sit down.... while he then proceeded to wait on other customers. Meanwhile, I am feeling worse and worse. He then comes back a few minutes later to explain that nobody was answering his messages at the doctors office so he couldn’t fill the prescription. I drove to my doctor’s office on Dixon to beg them to please fill my prescription and was also feeling on the verge of passing out. The woman behind the desk began to argue with me about what and why Publix said what they said. I begged her not to argue, that I just needed my medication, that I was feeling progressively worse and couldn’t she just call Publix or even just listen to the messages. She couldn’t help me until someone came in later today. I began to cry because, at this point, I needed to lie down and I felt miserable.

So.... home, in tears and feeling worse by the minute.

Dr. Acosta is a good doctor, but when you tried to call front desk, or the billing office, they never answer the phone. It is a little bit frustrating when you are trying to communicate with them and they don't even call you back when you leave them a message!!

They gave all of my personal information to a collection agency. Despite my debt being paid, I am still harrassed daily with phone calls. Patient information should not be given to third parties like that.
