It’s been years since I used her but to this day time with Melinda set me on the road to success. She is all about teaching you to have control over your own mind and educating you about how to help yourself.
To this day I have memorized what she taught me about overcoming uncontrollable panic attacks, what they actually are and what techniques to guide yourself out of them, or teach a supporting person in your life to help hold you to it.
The benefit of working with her too is how much she teaches you to give yourself room to be weak and human (so recovery is honest and thorough) while learning the needed education to overcome what you need to. If you’re clear about what you want and need, she is there. And will legitimately and gracefully help set you up for mental health success with time.
Long time ago memory (over ten years ago) working with her, but should tell you the fruit is in my recovered record.

I have seen Megyn regularly for the past two years. She is wonderful. Her knowledge and comforting spirit have been a lifeline to me as I go through this transitional period. The review about "not offering a tissue" is farther from the truth. Megyn is sympathetic and empathetic. She is smart and skilled. Anyone looking to find a good match in a therapist would be lucky to have her.

I do not recommend Megyn. She didn't even offer a tissue, and she never sent me the information she promised. I felt rushed. If you need help, do not go to Megyn, as she will make you feel horrible.

No level of counseling / talk therapy can make
Up for the Incompetent office management / billing at this place. I left them for their terrible policies and office management and after 6 months can still not get my account resolved. I’m receiving bills for services never rendered and sessions I already paid for. Ironic, such a headache, aggravation and anxiety from a place that’s meant to supposedly help you gain peace of mind.

We saw Dr. Jeremy Johnson on Friday, September 15th. We were unsatisfied with our visit and will not be implementing the suggestions we were given. We will also will not be returning to your office for any reason.

We’re disappointed in the disrespectful way Dr. Johnson treated our child as well as the way he didn’t truly listen to what we had to say. It was almost as if he knew what he was going to recommend before he even heard from us what was going on. He already felt like he had us figured out before even trying to get to know us. He treated us with arrogance and disrespect, which is not the way of Christ. He made assumptions about us and our family that were unhelpful at best and harmful at worst. That is unacceptable to us. We wish we had a direct email for him so that we could express these thoughts directly. We expected a lot more from someone whose work and training revolves around caring for children’s mental health.

This was our first experience with Christian counseling and it was a poor one.

Counselors are great!
Office staff - not so great. Charge ridiculous cancellation fees - even tho office staff makes appointments we show up for where they had not put the date down correctly!! I think they look for opportunities to charge clients such. Like the sessions aren’t enough esp when insurance won’t pay. Seems a private Christian organization would be the first to offer grace instead of sucking every penny out of hard working individuals in great need of their services.

Sarah and Tammy helped me out with microcurrent neurofeedback after I had some trauma in my life. It really helped me to heal. Can't recommend that treatment or this clinic enough. Very compassionate and smart folks.
