I've seen Lisa Youngblood through WellPsyche for the past two years and it's been a wonderful experience. Lisa is kind, considerate, and responsive. I've personally had issues with previous psychiatrists and mental health practitioners not being great at listening, but I've *never* had that issue with Lisa. It's always been pleasant and helpful meeting with her.

At wellpsyche you are a dollar sign. There are some great practitioners here really helping folks but to the business itself you are just a way for them to cash out. When you are in dire need of assistance with prescriptions they do absolutely nothing and give you no response. But when there is money on the line for them they will call you endlessly. They call dozens of times for you to make a follow up appointment because they can bill your insurance and get paid. But when your prescription isn’t being accepted by new insurance and your life is literally in the balance they are nowhere to be found. My pharmacy has tried to contact them for a week and can’t get a respond and I have tried every possible way to get in touch and no luck.

Nurse Practitioner Young Lee. This person caused me a seriously dangerous experience.

This nurse missed prescribing my medication five times and often didn’t even know which medication the patient was supposed to take. We would discuss treatment plans and prescriptions over video calls, but not only did they forget to prescribe the medication for that day—they forgot for over a week! At first, I let it slide, but I had to contact the front desk to finally get the correct prescription much later.

The same mistake kept happening repeatedly. One time, they even called me and casually asked, “There’s nothing else I need to give you, right?” Is this something a medical professional should say? Are you serious?

The fifth mistake was the worst. It was supposed to be a day to monitor my reaction to a prescribed medication. However, he hadn’t even prescribed the medication! Instead, he conducted the consultation via video call as if nothing was wrong. I was furious and asked, “How can I trust you with my health?”he response? “There are so many patients, it’s hard to keep up.” Don’t even bother making excuses.

Even now, the memory of dealing with this person is a nightmare. He is a dangerous P.A—be cautious!

Just a terrible, terrible lack of organization and flow on the backend. Don’t try to reschedule, they’ll charge you $250, and the entire appointment line are insanely rude and make you so uncomfortable. Total joke of a facility

Insanely hard to work with, they only contact you when they want money, and the NPs and therapists are wildly unhelpful not to mention the high turnover rate. I strongly recommend finding a different company if you need psychiatric telemedicine, as this one has caused me nothing but stress.

Greedy and terrible company. They will charge you the full price of your appointment ie $200 even if you’re bed-bound super sick with the flu or Covid. Horrible billing and insurance staff. Do NOT recommend.

WellPsyche is a simple web platform to use and has been a simple adjustment from your typical Doctor/Patient experience. I have been very pleased with the care I have received. The Doctor spent more time getting to know me and my concerns than any other Doctor I have ever been to. This made me feel comfortable that he actually cared about my well-being. The staff behind the scenes has been proactive, with phone calls & emails, in helping schedule appointments and ensuring that I received my medications. A very positive experience. I would recommend this new virtual way of receiving medical care to anyone. It is not lacking in any regard.
