I cannot say enough about this program from the minute i walked in and met Shayla who did my intake, then I met Kim, then my therapist Linda who absolutely changed me! She changes everyone who has her group. If you are lucky enough to have Linda as a therapist you know. I am going to try to not curse, (and that is difficult for me!) but this is a staff that cares, I look forward to alumni to seeing Jen and her new puppy, all the success stories, and the clients who made it. I may not know all your names, but I know the stories. I care. I have changed here. I came in angry, with a damaged relationship with my daughter, a job I disliked with lots of trauma. I had years of opiate addiction with so much lack of motivation and depression I couldnt see the light, I couldnt complete a sentence much less a program. At 53, I completed for the first time, a detox, 3 hospital stays to complete the methadone and fentanyl detox that took over a month, a 10 week PHP program, IOP completed, my daughter and I are moving into our new condo Saturday, I am happier than I have been in 20 years, I am in a new office where I am appreciated, I sleep well, I am peaceful, I have friends, I trust myself and I can honestly say I am grateful for all the lessons and blessings and without places like Wellness Resources and Linda and the Staff , I would NOT BE WRITING THIS REVIEW, i may not even be alive. That is the reality of this awful disease. We all need to be mindful of the blessings of the hardwork of the therapy and insurance we have and stop complaining about the little shit. Because that is all it is. See i cursed. LOL But this is the only place

They don’t even deserve one star. As someone who works in this industry of substance abuse and mental health, this facility DOES NOT HELP. The staff is not qualified, and Dion treats patients like we are unworthy of care and respect. It’s disheartening when you come in for care and are looking for a facility to take care of your needs, they weren’t at Wellness. I would not recommended this place. Parents don’t send your children there. They say they treat mental health and they don’t. People were using there, and nothing was addressed about it. So I say this will a full heart of hope, I support the journey of sobriety but please don’t chose this place for your journey. Again, please do t send your love ones there.

If you or a loved one are concerned with addiction and seeking a lifelong foundation on sobriety, let me recommend the Wellness Recourse Center! I was a client there for severe alcohol addiction. Alcohol was literally killing me. My wife, after a lot of research, was given a recommendation for the Wellness Center. Here is where all her questions and concerns were answered. Here is where she felt I was going to be in a safe and caring facility with experienced therapists. I was scared, did not know what to expect, I felt alone. My treatment started immediately. I was introduced to my therapist, Jamie, and I was with many other clients with the same and/or similar addiction issues. I realized I was not alone and my fears subsided, and this started my lifelong road of recovery. Through the guidance, understanding, persistence and knowledge of Jaime, who helped me understand my disease, helped me to see I was capable of a new and better future. Shout out to Meghan and all the other therapists! I was at the center for 65 days, and I have been sober now for 112 days and counting. I have never felt stronger, healthier or happier. Wellness, Jamie and my wife saved my life.

Worst treatment center in Florida. A typical day at Wellness resource center consists of sitting in therapy facilitated by under licensed therapists, being treated less than human by overworked, irritable and disrespectful behavioral health technicians, spending at least 10 hours a week in groups being billed for therapy but just watching movies because they are too understaffed to provide therapists to run groups. Then, if you call them out on any of these shady practices they will threaten you and ultimately kick you out of the program for speaking up for yourself.

An excellent experience overall. Sometimes it gets chaotic at the residence - especially with meds - but they are always trying to get a routine. I think they did the past couple of weeks. I stayed here for PHP and IOP for four months.

I had an excellent and helpful Case Manager - Meghan- and an awesome Therapist Shevon. The Case Loads with Shevon were the best part of the experience - as well as the community itself.

It’s not a place big on frills. Its focus is on giving and getting you used to a schedule - a lot of people moan about that at first - but if they stay they will get to appreciate it.

Staff is very helpful no matter what your needs.

Wellness provided superb services and support through the entire process of building a foundation for my recovery. From the nursing staff, to the residential techs, case management, and clinical staff, all departments showed respect and commitment to providing the best care possible for myself and other clients I was in treatment with. The case manager Kelsey went to bat for me without hesitation repeatedly. My therapist, Collin, has gone above and beyond at every turn to assist my growth and give me the best chance at success. To name all the staff that have been integral parts of my growth would take too long and I probably wouldn’t do them all justice. Suffice to say if you want to give yourself the best possible chance at changing your life for the better, come to wellness resource center!

This place is nothing more than a cash grab.
I was transferring there from another facility, they said they would give me a scholarship for the room and board($840) for the first month but that they needed to contact my parents so they would know I’d have money for food and meds. I gave them my mother’s info and they falsely told her that she would have to pay $2600 in order for me to go there ($840 + $1760 left on my deductible, even though the deductible would have been covered by the first facility I was transferring from). My mother didn’t have the money so she gave them my father’s info and they contacted him without my permission, which is a HIPPA violation. They told him the same story about how he needed to pay the $2600, which wasn’t true in any way, shape, or form, and so he paid it because he wanted to help me out. Since I hadn’t talked to him he didn’t know any better.
So after arriving and being told by the CEO that they would refund my father his money, I knew within the first few hours that I would be leaving asap. The housing facility is run down, the rooms look nothing like the pictures on the website, there were 3 forks for my 5 bed apartment, dirty pots and pans, rust all up in the shower, 3 washers and 3 dryers for 50 patients, I could go on and on. Not to mention the techs were incredibly rude to the patients and the Tech Manager, I believe his name is Leon, was by far the worst. His incredibly rude and aggressive demeanor was the final straw and his only excuse was that he worked in the prison systems for 28 years, and he treated the patients like they were criminals.

It’s been 4 weeks since I left and they still have not refunded my father his money.

I would not recommend this place to anyone who actually needs help in their recovery or mental health issues.

A fantastic treatment facility. The staff here are extremely friendly, the facility itself is nice, and very good with all around care, addiction, mental health, and anywhere in between.
