Went two days back to back with my 9 month old to the ER for 102-105 fevers that would not drop and was causing him shakes. Doctor checked and saw his eyes and ears and assumed it was just flu like symptoms. Follow up next day with primary care and they confirmed he had ear infections both ears and eye infections in both eyes!! What is astonishing is that he was “checked” by two different doctors and both dismissed his eye discharge at the time. They assumed it was a virus so didn’t do any further testing. We were there for a total of 4 hrs and the way they manage the ER is extremely sad. Vitals upon arrival then in the waiting room for 2 hrs to then get sent to their version of “urgent care.” Once they called us in they “checked him” and just did nose swabs. The first day for RSV with chest xray and the second day for the flu. Nothing further was checked or evaluated. So for us to have to see his PCP and find out he’s had an infection all this time and it was completely OVERLOOKED! I cannot trust my life nor my children’s at that hospital anymore. PLEASE DO BETTER!

Professionalism, high caliber care and quickness is everything my daughter received at Watsonville Community hospital ER. No waiting for six hours in the waiting room! Everyone we encountered from start to finish was genuinely friendly and helpful, as we had never been there before. The MD & nursing staff asked questions on top of questions to make sure we understood everything that was happening and at discharge. I’m pleased we made the right decision by choosing this facility instead of the other option in the county.

I had a great experience the nursing staff, radiology and overall my physician were great making me feel better! Everyone involved with my care were keeping me informed and updated frequently without me asking. I was definitely a good experience!!

My 2 year old fell and busted her chin open. We took her in and were in and out with stitches in an hour. The doctors and nurses were super friendly and kind friendly! I was impressed at the great and fast response! Good job guys!

The workers in the ER were efficient, friendly and made a normally scary experience a calm and almost pleasant experience. I was impressed by how quickly I was seen by a doctor and given treatment. All questions were answered in an easy to understand way. I will never dread going to this ER again should it become necessary to do so. Clean, well-organized and personnel was knowledgeable and thorough. They deserve a five star rating except one thing that I did not like was having to give my Social Security number.And they asked where I was born which I thought was odd. One can't be too careful .

Care was great! Nurses and staff were very nice. I have to say the place was kind of dirty though. Bathroom wasn’t very clean…. And when I got my ultra sound I noticed a stain (blood) on the side of the pillow I was to lay on. I didn’t say anything but…. Whatever. 5 stars for friendly, helpful staff and minus a star for cleanliness.

My three year old needed stitches in his forehead. The nurse that helped us comfort him (and me) during the procedure was amazing. The PA that did the work was calm and explained everything to us.
I am SO grateful to have a community hospital.
