Between covid and the reorganization, I don't like this hospital as much as before, but there isn't anything bad I have to say about it.
My latest contact is for physical therapy. Staff there is nice. They seem to know what they're doing.
The bright point of my visits has been the security guard. They didn't have anyone the last time I was there but he said he's been there for 4 yrs. (I guess I've been healthy.) He is very friendly and gets you on your way quickly.

I’ve always had great service when going to the Watsonville hospital. From the moment I walk in, when I receive my Registration packet all completed and ready for my signature, through the pre-op prep with the amazing nurses, into the room where I am introduced to everyone who will be present during my procedure. After the procedure, I wake up with a nurse at the bed with the box of juice, ready to prepare me to go home. I was concerned that there might be some changes, but everyone involved was fantastic.

I went into for my annual mammogram recently and first, they hired an additional x-ray technician so they could see people on weekends to catch up on their backlog since I was able to get an appointment right away. The registration procedure was fairly smooth and finally the x-ray technician was professional and worked diligently to make the mammogram as quick and painless as possible.

If you can look beyond the hospital‘s desperate need of renovation, there are some very special people who provide excellent care here! First of all Dr Brant saved my life so I am placing her at the top of that list! I was hospitalized for almost 2 weeks so there were many different nurses who cared for me. Jamie, Ailin, Debbie, Samantha and Deans stood out because of their competence, compassion, advocacy, communication and attention to detail. There were many other people who worked in phlebotomy, housekeeping and diagnostics that also deserve mention. The hospital has changed hands many times, and needs repair in most areas, but I am grateful there is a place I can feel safe and secure that I will be medically cared for with smiling faces despite their working conditions.

I cannot express my gratitude enough to everyone there. From getting admitted unexpectedly, inducing my labor, then having multiple serious complications arise post delivery it was a very scary time but all the staff we met and who cared for my family and I were so sweet and comforting that it really helped get us through it all. During our entire stay we always felt like we were in the best of hands. Thank you to you all for providing the best care; you all play a crucial role in our community and we will forever be grateful that we chose Watsonville Community to care for us.

I recently had surgery and stayed for 4 days recovering. Everyone involved, including my surgeon Dr. Brant, all the nurses and aids and support staff were all excellent. The room was clean and private. So glad this hospital is available in our community.

Great experience. I had an x-Ray. From the front desk to the x-ray tech, everyone was wonderful. Friendly, responsive and helpful. There was a glitch with my doctor getting the order to the hospital and the front desk woman was on it. The papaertowke dispenser in the bathroom near x-ray was malfunctioning. The reception in x-ray thanked me and reported it immediately. These are just little things, but they made a difference. I wish I knew their names. I was there on 9/16 at about 11:45 and had to come back at about 1:30 est.
