We were in St. Augustine on vacation and to attend a family wedding. My sister fell the first night we were there and broke her knee cap. After a trip to the ER and some crutches we knew we would need a wheel chair to get her around. We found Ward Medical Services and they were so helpful and very affordable to rent a chair for the week. Highly recommend!!!

I can't recommend Ward Medical Services enough. I needed a walker for my dad. The staff went out of their way to help me with my needs. They have a large inventory of everything you might need and reasonably priced. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Like I said, I can't recommend them enough

Wonderful staff and every equipment request was filled quickly and efficiently. As a caregiver, I've picked up many items from Ward ranging from bedside commodes to an oxygen machine and have had no problems with them submitting paperwork to my client's insurance company. Everything was quick and easy! I've used them for the past 5 years and I'm very happy their store and knowledgeable staff are here in St Augustine! : )

I was visiting St.Augustine on vacation when I was struck with debilitating back pain. I needed a wheelchair ASAP for the next 24 hours. I called a Medical Supply company who stated they could “only rent for a month for 260.00” no exceptions.

However, when I called Ward Medical Services they immediately offered wheelchair rental services and the entire process went so smoothly.

I was impressed with their excellent customer service and willingness to help a visitor who was touring your wonderful city. Thank you Ward Medical!

I had a problem with my beach style wheelchair; it wouldn’t open.
I found Ward Medical Supplies and took my chair there to see if they could fix it for me.
They took a look and said they would try right there and then to fix it…a few minutes later he informed what was the issue and he then proceeded to repair my chair. I was surprised at how efficient and kind they were. Kudos to you all for being so caring and super nice. You SAVED MY DAY!

Up at Saint Augustine with family on vacation. Fiancé had knee surgery and borrowed a wheelchair to get around. Hit a hole in the sidewalk while exploring the old city and broke the wheel. This company stayed open so we could get a New wheel for the wheelchair and put it on for us. We could not find one to rent by or replace it with. I highly recommend using these people. They were very nice and knowledgeable. The guy had it fixed and out to us with time to spare.

I went randomly to Ward Medical Services shopping for a CPAP. The doctor sent Ward the prescription for the CPAP and all required records from my sleep related information and studies. I also made sure that Ward had everything they needed.

I completed my initial sleep exam with the sleep doctor approximately 9 months ago. After that, I completed 3 sleep studies. The most recent (in hospital) sleep study was completed 10 days ago. The folks at Ward repeatedly told me that they could not process my CPAP order because "my insurance" needed the initial exam to be completed within the last 6 months. I called my insurance company and spoke with 2 supervisors. They were very clear that what Ward said is absolutely not true. In addition, my insurance company denies any record of contact from Ward Medical. I also discovered that Ward Medical did not follow protocol with the entire process. I have no idea why they would be either so misinformed or possibly up to something else. I would not recommend Ward at all.
