I have waited 3 days for people here to fax over medical records so my kids can go to school and can't even answer the phone or do their job.

The staff and nurses are all very nice. The inside of the building was clean, not a lot of people and my wait time was less than 3 minutes which is always a plus.
If I could change one thing about the health department here, it's that loud and annoying grate thing they have at the double door entrance. Walking in sounds like some sort of sound effects machine on a movie set. It doesn't matter how gently I try to walk over that to go inside its loud and makes me feel like I'm going in the wrong door or something. I know I'm probably over exaggerating this thing a little bit but sometimes I wonder if I should try to jump over it and the adult in me says "if you even think about embarrassing me like that!" I try my best to step as lightly as possible but when I get in I always say to myself now this lady smiled at me as I walked past but she's probably thinking "Goodness gracious that girl just stomped her way on in here like that, sounding like some marching elephants." Lol.
Im sure it's there to do more than just aggravate me but left up to me it wouldn't make such a noise.

I like Dr Halsey and the clinice for the most part my biggest complaint is the refill process having to come in monthly is getting ridiculous and also the appointment process. It's always either I have to wait 10 days for even a sick visit so I end up having to go to the ER because there are no reasonable urgent care centers to take my uhc insurance which is crazy seeing as uhc, aetna and humana are all the largest companies for insurance. They only want cash of $150+ for a visit or the wchd will schedule a less than 24 hr notice of appointment always just by their time even though I have to them every single time my work requires 7 days in advance but they tell you they're over 2 weeks booked out but have a appointment next day, the Dr on our last telehealth canceled last second I never got notice so I took the time off for the appointment waited for the link they never sent 8t so I call down and she was a no call no show last minute cancelation but yet we get charged 50$ for that and they refuse future appointments otp if you do this kind of stuff for them and the worst part is I had to wait 2 weeks for that appointment and they were not even going to notify me she wasn't coming I called 5 mins into waiting and found out she had meetings so she wasn't available and it was just brushed off. My complaint is about all of this is: stop assuming no one else has responsibilities and are just stay at home unemployed bums. Ppl do work and this last min crap is vs to do to ppl especially when you don't even offer walk in availability for sick patients and you just drop appointments on ppl with even less than 24 hr notice after they specifically have it in their chart that they need 7 day notice for their work. It's all bs and should not be happening. Already looking for a new Dr even though I like Halsey I'm fed tf up with this every month for standard refills and the bs scheduling they do here. Get your office together, I get it's health department but you run it as a Dr office nothing like a walk in health care setting here so when ppl are relying on a pcp that's not reliable and the messy staff ot gets old fast over a year of this bs now.

Worst place ever. I ran out of heart and bp medication and they insisted on me coming in a week later saying doctor would not refill my meds until then. I had to go to an emergency care doctor to get my meds so I wouldn't have a stroke. Needless to say I'm changing to a different Dr in Chipley. These people don't care.

First trip to Clinic in years. Everyone from the front desk clerk to the Cashier's desk clerk(all the healthcare providers in between) were super friendly, thorough and knowledgeable, and above efficient in each of their roles. So glad I made this choice.

worse staff ever. not friendly, will not help you figure anything out and act like they do not know the workings of the clinic. this is clinic part I'm talking about. the drs are great but the front desk staff are horrible and has attitudes like you are bothering them when you ask questions.

The receptionists were very harassing to members of the free press for exercising their rights. Shame. Do better.

Was directed to the Walton county health department after my insurance wouldn't cover my 2 month olds shots at her regular Dr. I was nervous about going to a health department due to they are usually dirty and completely sketchy with a staff that does not care. Not at all the case here. This place is clean, friendly, and extremely caring. No other Dr office in the area has been so wonderful and that's speaking all the way to Pensacola. I would recommend this office to anyone. Also i do have private insurance and being new to the area from jacksonville this was the best Dr office experience I've had since relocation.
