Received a bill for service provided in Baltimore and I never received any service or visited Baltimore. Called Vituity 800# and got message that they are attending company wide meeting or in training and to call back during normal business hours. Called the back another day during normal business hours and got the same message. Doesn't appear to be legitimate bill or billing company.

*UPDATE *** Since Google reviews seem to be the ONLY way any one at this department will respond. I'm being billed AGAIN !!!! Automated Phonecalls, and letters for the same damn bill, EVEN after I spoke to a representative, and explained to her how to Tricare works!!!! Gave her the number for Tricare and explained that as a Tricare Prime member WE HAVE ZERO DEDUCTIBLES, WHICH MEANS NO PATIENT PORTION TO PAY. AFTER THE ADJUSTMENTS YOU ARE CONTRACTED TO WRITE OFF ANY REMAINING AMOUNT, NOT BILL THE TRICARE MEMBER. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING, DO YOUR JOB!!!!!! STOP BILLING ME, AND THREATENING TO SEND ME TO COLLECTIONS!!!!! YOU GUYS ARE RIDICULOUS.

5 months I have been trying without success to get a hold of a live person in this billing department. On hold for hours, then disconnected. You leave a call back number, no one calls you. The only options they give you are for an automated payment, no way to ask questions or even dispute a charge. I have no idea what this bill is for, what doctor charged it, or what services were recieved. We are an active duty miltary family, we have zero deductibles and no co pays. I spoke with Tricare who can't do much unless this crazy scam of a company calls them. Now they are threatening to send to collections in 30 days! Is anyone listening? This has to stop. I'm reporting to BBB as well as patients advocacy.

This is a horrible biller. Doctors, PLEASE read these reviews!!
They don’t bill our insurance, they don’t answer the phone, they close earlier than what their hours state. Why would you want your patients to deal with a company like this? Why? It’s hard enough, going through illness and injury, the pain that goes with it, but then having to deal with such an incompetent, horrible billing service, oh my gosh, they are most definitely the real reason behind the Cliché, “adding insult to injury”….

I received emergency room services on 7/4/2023. I did not receive a bill in the mail or by email. Then I started getting text messages from Vituity requesting payment. The link in the text messages just went to a payment portal website; there was no way to see or request a copy of my bill. Finally, I called the toll-free number and got someone on the phone. When I asked if it was even legal for them not to mail the bill to me but yet demand payment via text message, they immediately said they would opt me out of text messages and send a bill in the mail. So now I have the bill, but it doesn’t say how to request financial assistance, which I think is required in Illinois, if not everywhere. Most other medical bills that I receive have detailed information included about how to request or apply for financial assistance (discounted bills). I emailed them yesterday about this, asking how do I apply, because your bill doesn’t say? I have not heard back yet. I feel like they are really skirting Illinois law if not federal law, and waiting for people to call them on it, knowing that most people don’t know their rights under the law.

After reading all these reviews and experiencing the same its undeniable that those notices are simply automated, I ve receive the same stuff and will see how I can report these scammers. If you are interested in doing something about it please reach out. This has to stop and we or someone needs to do something about its totally unacceptable that our info is being used to bill us for things.

How is this not shut down yet Clearly a scam. Don’t give these people your money. I tried to call them and they could not tell me what it was for. Reading all these other reviews confirms my suspicions. Don’t let them bully you into giving them free money. Report them. We need to stand up and stop allowing predatorily “businesses” like this to continue. Ask them to provide all the details and information they have. My mother-in-law got scammed by people like them. Always do your research if you aren’t sure.

Sketchiest billing company ever. No statements. Just texts. No one answers the phone and no one returns calls. I had to spend time researching, knowing that I had paid all our ER bills, and finally called the hospital to find out that the ER doctor uses this absolutely vile company called Vituity for his billing purposes. Probably because they're obviously cheap and he's willing to pay bottom dollar, but expect top dollar for his services. We never received a statement for his services. We couldn't even see a statement online. We just got texts. Which scream, "Hey, we're scammers!"

Because the hospital verified that the doctor uses this cheap, ineffective, and unreliable company and the total matched what our insurance EOB stated the cost was, I paid it. But, if I end up with fraud charges on my account, I know where they came from. A dubious and shady organization that bills itself as "transforming healthcare to improve lives". What a joke. I lost at least two hours of my day.

From my research, others have had the same problem of no statements, just texts and then threats of collection. Which, when you think about it, sums up the American healthcare billing system perfectly.

I have no idea why ANY Dr. or medical facility would work with these people. Incredibly rude. Unattainable. No invoices ever sent. I called over a dozen times for assistance and can never get a live person. UNBELIEVABLE. NEVER dealt with such incompetency. I wish there was a negative star option
