Sadly we have had to take our baby girl to be treated twice. The first time she went had anapheanaxis shock and had to stay overnight now she had a seizure. The care, communication and compassion they show has been unmatched. That’s not including the honesty in what they charged us. Transparent with best case pricing and worst case pricing and both times we were charged less than the best case pricing. If we have future emergencies, they have a life long customer. Thank you for taking care of Aurora.

My husband and I are very pleased with the care and services we received. There was no wait time and all of the staff were very helpful and caring. Dr. Schacher was professional and compassionate due to the circumstances of our visit. He explained the options that were available and allowed us time to make our decision. Although it was a difficult decision we decided to put our boy to rest. The tech explained step by step what to expect and that was exactly how the procedure went. Just based on this visit and to see how attentive everyone was I would highly recommend Veterinary Emergency Clinic for any of your pets needs. The one thing that really stands out to us was they didn’t try and up charge us or recommend any extra testing to increase the bill, his feedback was honest and kind and that we really appreciated . Thank you to the staff and Dr. Schacher for making a very difficult situation a little easier.

Incredible care at a difficult time! Rushed our 1.5 year old golden retriever in for throwing up/loss of consciousness/white gums on a Sunday afternoon. Called on our way there and was instructed to pull up to the back door and unload our girl. They took her with haste and compassion. Brought us to a room immediately and within a few minutes had started the paperwork to admit her to their care. Soon after we had the vet in to talk to us about what had happened (anaphylaxis-probably from eating a bee) and what the next steps were. Every person we came in contact with was professional and polite during this stressful ordeal. Once our girl was stable and admitted to their care for an overnight stay, we headed home. We were given tons of information and kept up to date the entire time. We picked up our girl the next day and although she was a bit sleepy (who wouldn’t be!) she’s back to being herself! While it was an expensive visit, to have our girl home with us is priceless! 100% recommend VEC in any emergency!!!!

Today I received a card from the staff giving me sympathy for the loss of my sweet midnight. Even though we had to make a very difficult decision we were happy with the treatment and the consideration from the staff. They were all very nice and understanding throughout this moment and gave us time to be with her before and after the procedure. Today was extremely difficult for us. We are visiting from Maryland to meet our new grandson. As always, we travel with our “kids”. Our oldest has been very sick with diabetes and tracheal collapse. This morning he peacefully crossed the Rainbow Bridge. This hospital has been caring, compassionate and helpful. The warmth and professionalism was outstanding. We will be forever grateful.
