I have been in CPMC at 1101 Van Ness Ave. four or time during the summer of 2023 and in March 2022. Each time I was treated very well. I was there half the month of June and most of July 2023, after have a transplant surgery. I can not name all the Physicians or Medical staff. To mention anyone would not be fail to all. The staff was so good to me. There were a few times I was not the nicest patient, but staff rolled with it.
Thank you CPMC so much for getting my life back in order and making me healthy again.

My doctor here is really good but Sutter Pacific medical megagroup is terrible, and has started committing billing scams. They tried to charge me an office visit fee BEFORE a 100% covered, 100% preventative annual checkup. I had my insurance call them to find out what scam they were trying, they put the insurance rep on hold for 10 minutes then hung up on them. Surprise surprise, the fee disappeared.

But after the visit they billed for a whole additional visit (with an office visit fee) on top of the preventative care visit - claiming it was justified because of the referral I was given for a different preventative care screening. The same doctor has given referrals before without a separate visit fee, and I wouldn't dream of scheduling a separate appointment just to get a referral for a mammogram.

Sutter Pacific is obviously scamming patients and insurance companies for money to pay for this fancy expensive new building. I'm going to start looking for new doctors who aren't affiliated with Sutter.

Doctor visit, what more can I say, choose healthy. Oh just visiting again and parking is $8/hour. Not even pro-rated.. 1.5 hours= $16.00. Wow a bit much for seniors to pay. Wish you doctors were still back at 3838 California St. Close to home, walking distance

Dr Lena Kim makes irresponsible judgement about pregnancy. She strongly advised pregnant women to terminate pregnancy even if the test results come back normal. Unbelievable!

The lab technician said the wait would be 25 minutes, ended up being 45 minutes. The five vials of blood they drew only took 90 seconds, can't imagine why the wait was so long.

Huge lovely new building with parking underneath. Medical offices and decor are understated elegance, a nice shift from the usual medical offices!
