Valley Regional Home Health cared for my husband until we transitioned to Hospice. I have to say they have the most incredible staff. Our LVN Amber was wonderful. She always took the time to explain everything she was doing and why. She even taught me how to correctly dress his wounds in case I had to do it in between visits. Our SLP Christine was very helpful with ideas to make swallowing easier on my husband. Our OT Mike was very kind and showed me exercises I could help my husband with on between visits, even helped me learn to use the hoyer sling appropriately. Our PT Robert not only provided therapy, but also practiced using the hoyer lift with me until I got it right and gave me tips on making the wheelchair work in my narrow doorways. Athena, our Home Health Aide gave my husband bed baths that compared to a full bath, no short cuts, she made sure he was clean head to toes. I am so appreciative for the care shown to us. Thank you VRHH, you are the best!!

Our experience with Valley Regional Home Health has been a wonderful experience and a truly blessed one.. 🙏🙏 My mother’s PT Kristina was so professional and efficient and kind , she met moms needs always and keeps her informed of anything she needed .. and moms PTA Mitchie was also great with mom and her sweet laughter lifted my mother’s spirits up always… we appreciate them and are very thankful and blessed to have had their services.. they deserve a 5 star rating and more!!!! Kristina has been so helpful in helping my mom. Even with Kaiser cancelling her home health, she went out of her way to show us exercises and stretches and sending pictures of the exercises. Mitchie was also great in doing PT with my mom, they are a great team.

Great skilled and caring staff. Krystina and Pam helped me with recovery from a total knee replacement in June/July 2021. Great care and helpful tips really helped me get through those tough days. The tips from krystina really made the difference in my recovery and regaining the use of my right knee. Michael also filled in while Pam was on a much needed day off and he also provided helpful tips such as getting in and out of the car and managing stairs.

I recently received a hip replacement. I had complications that required a catheter. Clovis Community discharged me on a Sunday stating the soonest I could receive home physical therapy and nurse consultation for the catheter would be Wednesday. I called Tuesday to verify Wednesday services, I was told only the nurse would arrive mainly for administrative reasons. I was demanding on getting PT out on Wednesday and they finally said they would have one in the afternoon. The nurse arrived as scheduled and completed her admin duties and upon leaving, stated she was arranging for PT for the afternoon and that I would receive a call from the therapist. It is Friday afternoon and I have not seen or heard from a therapist. I called and cancelled any further services that may have had on the schedule I had a left hip replaced in 2016 so I reverted to the lessons taught at that time knowing that when a major joint is replaced, timely rehabilitation is essential. From my experience, Valley Regional does not grasp the concept.

Shannon was amazing! She was always there for my Dad and our whole family when we needed guidance or a shoulder to cry on! She was very professional and provided us with all the education necessary to care for my Dad. We couldn’t have cared for him in the way that we did without her! I recommend VRHH to anyone that’s needs either home health or hospice care!! Shannon is my friend for life and we LOVE her!!
