The nurses here seem to be passionate about what they do, but they cannot keep a consistent schedule. I am a TPN patient and need to have my needle changed along with bloodwork done weekly. I am assigned a “regular” nurse, but the nurse is constantly changing. A few weeks ago, no nurse showed up, I called the office and was told there’s nothing they can do for me until the next day. They said they would send someone the next day. Well, no one showed up the next day. Again, I had to call the office. I was told that I would have to wait another day; I was infuriated as needles to my chemo port needed to be changed every 7 days!!! They were able to send a nurse out that evening to change the needle, but no blood work was done for that week.

Just last Friday, I was told my nurse is changing. I called today to make sure someone will show. The nurse told me someone would be here between 3-4pm. Guess what?! No one showed today and I was told my nurse had an emergency to tend to. I understand that sometimes emergencies happen, but please plan your work schedules accordingly so your patients can be taken care of! Isn’t that your job?!

If you have a loved one needing in-home assistance, I would not recommend this place. They are not reliable.

I should also add that the patient care coordinator is rude and unprofessional. Instead of trying to resolve the problems, she makes excuses, is argumentative, and blames the patient. How is it my fault that you can’t send someone here like you’re supposed to!?
