Shout out to our local community VA clinic❤️. I had to hobble on in for a foot injury and they took great care of me. First of all was it making sure I was enrolled and assigned to the right community clinic. I did have to wait a day for an assigned clinic and PCM but I was seen in the Walk In clinic while enrollment set me up.

I came in for a “walk-in” sickcall at 0800am and from there I was seen by the VA clinic; sent to X Ray and then to Pharmacy. I was then assisted by kind and helpful nurses to set up my Labs and initiatial PCM visit along with a specialty clinic of podiatry all within ONE WEEK 😳🫢. Thank you for the care and assistance ❤️. Our newly built clinic is a great asset to our small community and I’m grateful for the medical care.

** I was seen, treated and walked out the door all within an hour… ✌🏼

Great clinic to go to. Staff do a great job. Appts are on time. they don't have to wait like outside va doctors. Wish Vets would realize it's not a walk in clinic it's a doctors office. You need an APOINTMENT so don't get mad when you go and don't get catered to. Call ahead, secure message, don't waste a trip.

Rude and guidelines that aren’t VA policy. Instead of helping a 100% disabled marine just moving here they making me jump through hoops for a simple dmv sign off showing I’m 100%. Wow. Worst va ever. Looks nice sure but wow what lazy terrible workers. And the manager lady was so disrespectful, and wouldn’t give me her name. Pretty sure gov employees are required to. Hope this helps other vets and let’s keep filing our complaints to get them to change and make it better for us. Bc they sure aren’t going to. They say it’s my problem not theirs. Wow

Straight from the VA policies: Yes, the Veterans Affairs (VA) may have exceptions to guidelines depending on specific circumstances. While guidelines are generally followed to ensure consistency and quality of care or services, there may be situations where exceptions are warranted due to unique patient needs, legal requirements, or other factors. However, any exceptions typically require careful consideration and documentation to ensure accountability and adherence to overarching goals and standards.

So you’re telling me that signing off to the dmv that my disability rating is a 100% wouldn’t qualify as an exception…. Will be going complaint get this ridiculous guideline changed. And we wonder why so many of us vets hate the VA.

I love the acupuncture. The lady who does it is amazing . She makes my life so much better. Pain is at an all time low . I wish they would get massage therapy . Because I’m having to do that outside of the va and that’s been helping tons as well .

Great that there is a new building, but it takes 3 months to get an appointment made, and if you miss it, they grill you for it. I've been trying to be seen for 7 months, and the earliest apt they can give me is June... been handicapped since 2012 and trying to renew my placard, but for some reason the new doc won't renew without seeing me again, so it'll be 4 months expired before I can get a simple paper signed. Unnecessary suffering for the veterans that have to deal with this kind of thing. My whole family can get a Dr appointment within a week at clinics that are a quarter the size, so idk why they have a 3-4 month wait for this big new building with supposedly significantly more staff anyway?
Starring to see why the VA gets such a horrible reputation when it comes to Healthcare.

Beautiful new modern building. Same caring & compassionate staff. Same grumpy Veterans that go there & treat the staff rude. The staff really does the best they can & are way better than most other Government entities. High praise for everyone that works there.

WOKE VA New Port Richey if your white male service connected you get masked doctors with foreign accent making communication next to impossible telling you go to Tampa for real healthcare or just go home and die quietly

I love that they added so many specialty departments it is only an hour away from us rather than an hour and a half or longer getting to Tampa. Much more convenient
