I wantt try to complement ALL of my doctors and nurses at t hermitage clinic and butler hospital for their super caring and care that I receive from them. The absolute best!! I have been on VA facilities in several states and these people are the best. I wish them the best Cc always!?

It's nice that the government finally takes better care of the Veterans. This is a big beautiful hospital but they don't have all services here

I have nothing but good things to say about the Butler VA. My wife and I were both extremely hesitant to even set our first appointments due to the VA horror stories we've heard from all over. While other VA facilities fall short, I have no complaints with this facility. Every interaction has been professional, timely, and friendly. From the medical care and availability of staff to answer questions, to the job fairs and sales, we have been pleasantly surprised. I went from waiting two years on active duty to get an MRI to about 10 days here.

I remind my fellow veterans that the staffs at your VA facilities are excellent , especially Butler, but they are not miracle workers.
You are part of the team and must do your best to keep yourself as healthy as possible.
You can't demand " Doc, fix me" if you lead a dubious life-stlyle.
I'm sorry but that is the fact.
I am only a regular vet, nobody special, but I view it through reality lenses.
Give it some thought...look at it from the other side.

I Received my first vaccine at the Butler VA on Saturday : this event was so perfectly organized.
Every staff member involved in this event should be praised from: the va police upon initial entry,the men and women guiding vets through the process,the nurses involved in giving the shots and certainly the red cross attending to the vets....and the initial organizers.. I hope that I didn't miss anyone. I praise ALL of those involved. The process was easy and quite timely.

I started using the VA in Butler and New Castle two years ago when my health started to decline. I didn't know what to expect. I've heard so many horror stories. The kindness and caring I was shown made me feel very welcome. The doctors and staff really care and are professional. I'm glad I went and feel fortunate to have these two VA locations close to me.

On my last 6 month checkup I got a doctor that did not come within 3 feet of me, never checked my heart, nor my lungs, and I have severe asthma. He complained that about the medication I was using to treat my asthma, and I am being treated by a world renown asthma specialist who teaches doctors worldwide. He told me about how he treats his asthma. I wish the VA would hire some real doctors! It is a shame that the VA hires these incompetent doctors! The veterans deserve better!
