When I was referred to University Sleep Disorders Center, I elected to schedule a brief appointment prior to the sleep test and then 2 consecutive night of sleep studying. I knew that it was likely that I would need the additional night to test with a sleep machine.

The pre-visit appointment was very brief so if you are somewhat familiar with the process and have no specific concerns, I would skip scheduling that. It was nice to meet the doctor, though.

I had a case manager and a sleep tech that I dealt with directly. The case manager arranged everything and was my main point of contact for questions and scheduling. She also reported the results. She was very nice and knowledgeable.

My sleep tech, Natalie, was also very sweet and knowledgeable. She knew exactly how to install all of the electrodes, what they were used for, and how to best handle them as I moved around in the bed. She was quick and efficient getting them on and taking them off.

Overall, the experience was a good one. You can’t ever be totally relaxed with all those wires on you trying to sleep but the facility (and Natalie) did everything they could to make it as comfortable as possible. The rooms are spacious, TVs have a good selection of channels, the restrooms were very clean, and the air ran on about 70 degrees. The rooms also had a recliner and the bed was memory foam. It was very comfortable and I have already referred friends there.

USDC is very well run, smooth process, minimal wait, friendly, polite and appointments are soon. Most importantly, they are knowledgeable and provide a one stop experience. Sleep study, equipment, and doctor appts are all in one location. Easy parking too!

I recently completed two sleep studies, one of which included a CPAP machine, and I am pleased to award a 5-star rating for both experiences. From the outset, the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff were evident. Sam, the technician for my first study, and Emori, who conducted the second, were both exemplary in their roles. They took great care to explain the procedures thoroughly, detailing how they would connect the various electrodes and what to expect during the study. This level of communication was both reassuring and appreciated.

The facilities met the highest standards of cleanliness and order. The rooms were well-maintained, the beds comfortable, and the bathrooms impeccably clean—a crucial aspect that I always observe. The administrative aspects were handled just as smoothly. Scheduling the studies was straightforward, and the staff was exceptionally helpful, particularly when addressing questions related to insurance coverage.

For anyone considering a sleep study, I can confidently recommend this clinic. The combination of a professional team, clean facilities, and efficient management contributed to a very positive experience.

Both times I have done my sleep study here has been wonderful. The whole thing can be uncomfortable but Misty was the best at answering all my questions. They were very prompt about letting me know about my results and the next steps I would need to take.

Highly recommend!

The first night was really tough and I didn't sleep well. Emily B. was the best. She was very concerned about me and it helped calm my nerves and I slept like a baby.
