Professional, Caring, and Effective

I came to UHealth Jackson Urgent Care after a frustrating experience at MD Now Urgent Care, and the difference was incredible. I was under severe pain and needed immediate assistance, Dr. Chugh, Andrew (RN), and Cathy (RN) were professional, attentive, and took my concerns seriously. They provided the treatment I actually needed and I felt significantly better by the next day. Their care made a real difference, not just on my health, but in my professional and personal life. I appreciate the respect and efficiency with which they handled everything. I highly recommend UHealth Jackson Urgent Care and more specifically, this location in North Miami.

11/17/24. I can truly say that I will never return to this facility again. I had the most uncomfortable experience when I walked into the facility to register, the doctor who is treating patients was reclining in a chair with his feet up on the desk while talking to the registration representative about matters unrelated to patient care. I believe my registration was delayed due to this matter. Because I have major concerns for my privacy and this facility still uses paper registration forms, I was worried and considered going to Baptist urgent care. I stayed because my pain dictated that I needed treatment right then and there. Dawn the nurse was nice and reassuring. The doctor on the other hand, was not. As a patient, I explained that was concerned for my privacy and level of treatment when I saw him in registration with his feet up. I stated I wanted to provide feedback. He said he’d worked long hours and deserved to do so. I asked him if a patient’s first impression mattered to him and he told me it did not. We went back and forth for minute or 2 with me trying to get him to see the patient perspective to no avail. Our conversation ended with me letting him know that I would not voluntarily choose him a my personal physician as he demonstrated a lack of care and concern for the patient.

I went to urgent care yesterday for what turned out to be bronchitis. From the moment I walked in, I was treated great by the gentleman at the desk. There was only two people ahead of me and we went in very quickly one after the other. Dr. Suri and nurse Sonia took care of me and they were just amazing. I was in and out of there so quick but yet they took their time with me for whatever I needed. They really go the extra mile to make you comfortable and you can tell they love their field of work. I went to Uhealth for issues with possibly bronchitis. The doctor spent about 3 minutes while I explained my difficulties and he listened to my lungs and chest. He wrote a prescription for antibiotics and steroids. After two days my symptoms escalated to the point that I could barely breathe. I went to an ER and was promptly surrounded by several nurses and a doctor. I was suffering from untreated acute bronchitis. I remained in the hospital where the proper tests were run: CT scan, chest x-ray, blood tests. Had the attending doctor at UHealth paid more attention or at least ordered a chest x-ray my illness might not have escalated. The attending physician’s notes included: Reason for ER: “walk in clinic failure to treat”

Latoya have always been such amazing person to be attended by. Very kind and always pleasant. Jason Rodriguez was beyond helpful and very nice with my twins this urgent care is very friendly and very nice. The physician was so sweet and nice 😊 amazing urgent care.
