I started as a new patient several months ago, and really enjoyed my visit with Dr Tran. She is thorough and listens to concerns. However, my review is geared towards the Flagler Primary Care facility as a whole. Since my initial visit, I was seen for a shoulder issue. Dr Tran ordered an xray and mri for Flagler Imaging and it was supposed to be sent to them directly. After at least 3 follow up phone calls back and forth, (because the imaging center never received the order) it was finally sent to Flagler Imaging. After my x-ray, I received no follow up from UF Health Primary Care. I called the office, and left three voicemails on Dr Tran's testing results line (I waited 48 hours in between as requested). Finally, after no follow up, I stopped by the office. At that point, they still had not read my x-ray (it had been at least a week). If they are busy, I understand but it only takes a minute to call be back for an update. I waited one more day for them to finally call back with xray results, and then they ordered the MRI. After the mri results were given to me, Dr Tran suggested a 2nd mri for a different look. She said she would place the request, and I would hear from someone in a few days. It's now been two weeks and I have not received one phone call from UF Health Primary Care OR Flagler Imaging. In the meantime, I went ahead and made and appointment at JOI. They read my initial results and set me up with a treatment plan same day. In short, I wasted a lot of time with the primary care. Dr Tran seems like a great doctor, but the facility is very lacking with it's communication and follow up. Good luck to anyone that visits and expects thorough follow up. This seems to be a consistent problem if you read the negative reviews.

We take our sons to see Dr Tawes and we REALLY like him! However, it's impossible to make an appointment to see him. I've been calling and leaving messages for days and no one will even call me back. Also, the receptionist was one of the rudest people I have ever had to interact with. What do I have to do to get a call back?

UPDATE: I'm changing my review to 5 stars. The rude receptionist no longer works there, and Dr. Tawes is simply the BEST! We're so fortunate to have found him.

The staff at this location are so polite , friendly, and helpful. Dr. Tran is soooo personable. She is an empathetic listener and provides educational feedback for each concern. She spent quality time with me, and didn't rush through my visit. I can see why she was highly suggested to me.

Dr Tawes is amazing! Before the receptionist never answered calls. So glad you have someone now that does! Would of liked to of been set up on telehealth as the doctor told me she would do, but instead she directed me to the portal I just got set up yesterday. Other than that it was a much better experience

Dr Tawes is very thorough and takes time to listen to your needs. Very focused on individualized care. I like him a lot for my Dr. I’m 69 years old.

Dr. Tran and the team at Flagler Health are amazing! Dr. Tran is genuine and caring, and is willing to talk about all treatment options and answered all our questions patiently. A real rarity with Doctors these days! Amy (was so thorough!), Kendra (very kind and polite), Rachel (kind and helpful at the front desk), and Kelisha (great attitude in training) were all so welcoming during our visit today. Thank you to the whole team!

Dr. Tran as well as her staff at Flagler Health are extremely knowledgeable, kind and professional. It was a wonderful experience. I felt cared for, listened to and at ease. I highly recommend Dr Tran as well as her professional and efficient, effective staff.
