This is my second time attending this facility. Each time, the staff has been friendly and knowledgeable on the issues at hand. I will be returning the next time I need an urgent care.

The CH location was great when Dr. Leon was there. When he left no one told us where he was going so we couldn’t go with him. The staff WAS super nice but that changer when UAB took over. The current staff is completely inept, discouraging and to my knowledge they don’t have a doctor on staff anymore. Won’t be using UAB/St. Vincent’s again.

I'll start with the good points. The receptionist, and medical assistant were very nice. I also made an appointment and didn't have to wait very long at all. 10 minutes tops.
The bad point is they have no way of doing bloodwork. The MD I saw said that I needed bloodwork done and told me to go to medhelp. So, if you have any issues that might require bloodwork don't go here.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Being a healthcare professional myself, they are violating many polices. No one was at the front desk when entering the building. No one answers the phone. The only person that gave me any type of courtesy was Felicia. I will be contacting higher authorities to discuss the way the practice is functioning.

rude and horrible and disrespectful. they were beyond disgusting and i left crying. whoever was on duty at 8:30 Thursday May 8th 2025 deserves to be fired. absolutely disgusting and beyond anything i've ever experienced. especially being sick.

The treatment and diagnosis (burn) I got were perfect. However, the nurse told me I’m too old for this job, the doctor was bragging about her past experience, and I was not told the cream would be prescribed to me. I even asked, am I getting this (cream) and the nurse said no. I got an injection and there’s no documentation of that on my discharge notes. The plan of care is to keep the area clean and dry, but they did indeed prescribe a cream to be used (notified by pharmacy three days later) . Additionally, the cream is listed twice on the discharge notes and the nurse was even wondering about this. Poor communication, sloppy documentation. I wouldn’t trust a provider like this.

Event to this location for the first time. Found everyone very accommodation. Love Dr. Pettway. Was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

I'm a Y employee and Ashley Thomas CRNP and another elderly black lady was very very helpful to me when I broke my foot spine. Both of those women get a 5 star from me. Now Dr Laquetta N Pettway was very dismissive and She was very Sassy. She's lucky That I wasn't too combative because I was in pain In my foot because she would have been dealt with verbally and reported by me. She left A young male nurse To help me out and I requested the guy nurse to bring her back to me because she stayed 5 seconds in the room. She's acting like you're wasting her time.
