We used this company when I needed respite care for the family member I took care of 24/7/365. Jana was the nurse that came to the house, did an assessment and organized time for me to get away.

Later on I had the opportunity to work with Jana for a while during covid in a facility and she is an amazing nurse. She is a top tier wound care nurse and over all a compassionate nurse for her patients. This company is a great company and the nursing staff including Jana are truly amazing and advocates for the patients that they provide care for.

I am in disbelief on the company’s lack of professionalism, knowledge, but most of all common sense. Please don’t consider this company, and put anyone in harms way.
Tucson Medical Home Health (TMHH) was taking care of Mr. Deas back wound. Specifically, nurse named Jana Thomson. Will admit she’s one if not the best wound specialist in Tucson. yet lacking professionalism and amateurishness. Patient, Mr. Deas got both his legs amputated, because a nurse who’s visiting twice a week failed to check the simple wounds.
The lack of acknowledgment a mistake this company made, explains the whole situation. Using a relationship between an unlicensed nurse and her patient (myself) as an excuse to discredit the truth explains a lot about the company. I wish her nothing but the best in life. I’m just using my right to speak on the company’s negligence, and make everyone aware of the shadiness going on with this company. Responsibility is never taken until lawsuits are filed. Lawsuits are public knowledge, when they are completed. The truth will be out eventually. Stop using my relationship with Jana Thomson as an excuse for the company’s negligence. Audits coming soon.

The day after I was released from the hospital w/ wound vac I got a phone call from TMHH to set up care. The next day Jewel came out for the initial evaluation and set up. He was very kind and gentle. When changing the wound vac. The next day I got a call from my permanent nurse to set up continual care 3xwk. She came on Saturday. I expressed being nervous because I had experienced pain when removing the wound vac. Jana reassured me that it was going to be fine. As she removed the vac she explained in layman's terms how the wound vac was helping me heal. Not only was she very gentle(I didn't even feel the removal, besides the tape ?), but she was knowledgeable (explained the healing process, in layman's terms) and kind. She instantly put me at ease. She has been coming regularly now and I must say you can tell she is passionate about what she does and genuinely cares for her patients. And while I still have a long way to go I believe because of the care I am receiving my wound is healing nicely. I would highly recommend this company.

This company is fantastic! They care about their patients and their staff and it shows! My family had them two years ago, and the wounds were healed within nine weeks. My father had another surgery a month ago, and you better believe we called Tucson Medical Home Heath. Their wound nurse Jana is the best, most caring nurse we have ever seen!
