I was starving and everything was closed in lake county so I bought bacon, an apple pie and cup o noodles, the bacon was rotten the pie was moldy and the cup o noodles was so stale you couldn’t even plug your nose and eat it! What’s worse is when I called the next day to tell them the manager said they were not allowed to throw anything out until it’s out of date so they’re going to continue to sell the rotten stale food and they have to be shut down I hope they get fined and hopefully no one has to die of food poisoning before somebody does something

It is always nice to see the workers with the smiles and willingness to give you a great customer service exsperience. I just think the prices need tocome down. This isnt the area to charge an arm and a leg for chips or household items. Can we get a break sometimes.

Do you like to walk an 1/8th mile to purchase gas with cash? If you don't use plastic for gas, save yourself the trouble and use the smaller gas station across the intersection. If you don't heed my advice, be sure to note the pump #, or you'll be walking a 1/4 mile to figure it out. The lines can be atrociously long during "commute hours", I use that term loosely, it is a small community. The rest of this review isn't worth reading if you're from out of town. I still refer to the location as "Cheaper", it's original name; you might remember the old card system... "try again, see cashier to add value to your card", or maybe "it'sa Cola", or "it'sa root beer" for $0.25 in the machine out front. Since they removed the life sized 1/2 elephant that would trumpet each time the door opened, I'm sad, it's never been the same. The candy selection suffered and the prices are ridiculous unless they're "on sale". For years I was a loyal customer, but since Shell went generic, I go there.

I've lived in the area many years and like to avoid this place. It gets busy and it's not uncommon for them to have one cashier working with three cash registers idle with someone doing paper work just feet away while the line goes 6-7 people deep.

I visited this station on my break at work got some gas and decided some jello and yogurt sounded amazing for a snack. Before purchasing i asked the very nice gentleman at the counter if they had spoons to which he replied "yes over by the coffees." I walk over and find only forks. I go over and politely ask again. "Do you have spoons? Or only forks?" The guy says "oh are there only for..." But is quickly interupted by a coworker. A woman literally standing next to him resting her head in her hand on the counter. She says.. Im sorry.. Not says.. YELLS.. "Im not going in the back to get anybody spoons. They are all the way in the back and im just not doing it!". Wow lady! Not only did I not ask you to go get anything.. But if you are in customer service.. That is exactly what you should do when you can. Im an understanding person.. But being yelled at for something I didnt ask for to begin with.. After being told they were available before purchase. It would be one thing if they werent there. If they had run out... But that was unprofessional and insulting. I am a customer not your child. Get it together. Only reason I gave a 2 star is for the poor gentleman who tried to be accommodating and polite.

For a gas station, this place is amazing. More of a small grocery store with fair prices, and gas too! Lol would get five stars if the bathrooms were cleaner.
