I cannot recommend Therapy South in Hoover enough. I have been to this location multiple times for post surgery physical therapy. They are all great at what they do from a physical therapy and recovery standpoint, but most importantly everyone in the building truly cares about the wellbeing of the patients. If ever need PT in the future, this would be the only choice for me.

I started physical therapy after not walking for 6 weeks post-ankle surgery. I finished my sessions a few months later feeling confident and walking normally. Drew went above and beyond in ensuring all my questions were answered and was personable and friendly along the way! I would recommend Drew to anyone!

I had to miss four sessions on different days due to work, but I always informed them in advance. Despite that, they discharged me without any consultation, which was both unexpected and frustrating. Throughout my treatment, I also noticed that one physical therapist was often treating two patients at the same time, which affected the quality of care. I’m still in need of treatment and now have to go through the hassle of finding another provider and submitting new paperwork. They never reviewed their policy with me, and it feels unfair to deny a patient care in this way. Overall, a very disappointing experience. 1 star.

Drew and Lisen at the Therapy South Hoover location have given me back my life! After 11 years of pain, I decided to have my shoulder replaced. Post surgery, Drew listened to me describe the source of my pain and identified that I was using my muscles incorrectly (years of protecting a bad shoulder). Together he and Lisen helped me re-learn how to use my muscles correctly, while getting me stronger and stronger each visit. Five stars isn't enough for the staff at this location - friendly, professional and passionate about helping each person get back to a full and productive life. I highly recommend them!!

This morning I showed up for my appointment at TherapySouth at the S. Shades Crest location in Hoover. I noticed I had not been called into the back. I checked to confirm the date and time of the appointment on my phone. The date and time were correct but the person over the phone set the location in Green Valley rather than my requested S. Shades Crest location. I shared the information with a staff member and told him I scheduled the appointment for the S. Shades Crest location. I advised that I live in Ross Bridge down the street in Hoover and told the person over the phone that I wanted my appointment in Hoover on S. Shades Crest across from the YMCA because I live in Ross Bridge. This was the most convenient location for me. I then overheard him tell someone I got confused about the location of the appointment. When he came back into the lobby I explained that I told the person who scheduled the appointment that I wanted it at the S. Shades Crest location. After us not being able to find an appointment that fit my schedule at the S. Shades Crest Location, I advised I would call back and schedule it myself another time. I thanked the staff member and he then he proceeded to say, "I'm sorry you got confused about the location and that they have 3 Hoover locations." He state there is one in Green Valley by Ellis Piano, this current one on S. Shades Crest and said there was one near Lifetime Fitness off of Hwy. 280. I advised I was familiar with that part of Hoover because I used to live in Greystone. I was born in Hoover AL. I'm was not confused and I didn't understand why continued to say I was "confused" about the locations in Hoover. I was born in 1985 in Riverchase neighborhood in Hoover, AL. I can't fathom why this individual was doubling down about my supposed confusion. Why was he being so dismissive? His insistence of my confusion was condescending and poor customer service. This individual did not schedule the appointment. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this practice for services.
