If I could give Banner in General less than one star I would. My wife was hospitalized at their South Campus and it was a horror show, no one on staff knew anything and no one could tell me who could. For me personally at this clinic I went to an orthopedist for a torn meniscus and was told by the doctor and his medical student assistant that for people my age (I was then 59) they don't do anything because it is normal arthritic degeneration and part of aging. Fast forward 2 years and 2700 miles away I was told the reason my knee locks up and I have bone spurs, a "floating knee cap" and bone on bone in my left knee and am in extreme pain walking or sitting still is because since the torn meniscus was never repaired and accelerated the onset of severe arthritis. There's a reason you become a doctor in Tucson and not a NYU Medical Center in New York City and it has something to do with your ability. I can't walk properly and can't work because of these two morons and I never mentioned to the NYU doctors that I was seen at Banner until they told me how bad my knee was and asked me if I was aware of the torn meniscus and if so why I didn't have it treated. Don't trust anyone at Banner they are all incompetent and now I'm disabled and going to be broke. Getting a good NYC lawyer. Not being an NYC elitist just being honest, two bad experiences at Banner stay away.
