My experience and review for the Surgery Group is for Dr. Hodnette only. I was dealing with a colorectal issue for months where a diagnosis for the issue had alluded several other professionals. My wife found Dr. Hodnette online and reached out on my behalf and got an appointment right awa after explaing our 4-month long ordeal. Within a few minutes of the examination starting Dr. Hodnette was able to correctly diagnose and recommend a surgical procedure that would fix my issue with a high degree of confidence. I will warn you that appointments at a colorectal doctor are not what most of us are used to experiencing. Set the awkwardness aside and know you are in great hands. I was impressed with the care and treatment I received from that first visit, surgery scheduling, the surgery, and the aftercare were all excellent. I am now 99% fully recovered after about 6-7 weeks since the procedure and my issue has been resolved. I can now live my life without fighting constant infection and being a burden on my wife and worrying about my health. I strongly recommend that anyone in the area needing a colorectal doctor/surgeon to reach out to Dr. Hodnette for help.

Came in for routine hernia surgery. Botched surgery ended in sepsis, septic shock. ICU for ~45 days. Coded three times. Nearly died. Several “doctors” from this practice involved. I have spent the last two years in a brutal recovery and am permanently disabled because of this. These people are incompetent.

The nurse had seemed to be well informed. I had taken a friend here for cataract surgery which came out obviously excellent because of Doctor Jennifer Murray Who also happened to be my eye surgeon. The downside because of the virus you're still not allowed to go in with your friend husband or wife while they wait for their procedure to be done be done and the waiting can take a couple of hours before they even go in. However a lot of places are like this they have you show up 2 to 3 hours early and then you sit for an hour or prior to being calling in and then you sit for another 2 hours while you wait for your procedure I wish there was another way they could figure out how to do it with a lot less time waiting. I find the more time you wait the more anxiety builds up.

Dr. Onady destroyed my husband's quality of life. He did a botched Gall bladder surgery in 2016 that turned into an infectious disease and leak that almost killed him 6 years later .
Statutes of limitation has made it impossible for us to get any current and future medical assistance.

I've personally been a patient to three of the surgeons in this practice. There were great outcomes each time. I have always been treated with dignity and respect by the doctors, nurses, and supporting staff. I've personally witnessed great outcomes from each of the other surgeons at The Surgery Group through both my personal relationships with friends and family, as well as through my past working experience. Dr. Jada Leahy did my mastectomy in April 2019. She is very thorough and is highly skilled. I was very comfortable with her. She treated me with patience and never rushed me through an appointment. I had complete and total trust in her and would call on her again if the need ever arises.
