We're new to the area and this pediatrician was highly recommended. If this is truly the best Lake Charles has to offer, it's disappointing. We have had 3 interactions with the front staff at this establishment prior to our would-be appointments today and we have concluded based on these interactions that they don't listen. We received nothing but judgemental stares and condescending attitudes from front staff. I left with my children before even seeing the physician. Clearly despite its reputation, this pediatrician's office is not a good place to go if you have children who are disabled.

Absolutely love bringing my kids here. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Rachel is an AWESOME NP. The doctors are always friendly and helpful, especially Dr. Babineaux.

We absolutely love using Dr. Julie Babineaux! She is phenomenal and always eases my mind being a first time mom. Anytime I call last minute because my son has a small cough or something they are always able to fit me in as soon as possible and I love the fact that they have weekend clinics in Sulpher!

Excellent staff ! This was a first time visit for my daughter and everyone was amazing. Easy to book the appointment, easy check in. Barely any wait time to see the dr. All of my concerns were addressed and questions answered. Great job ! I was very impressed, Thank you !

Great place. Later time slots help with our schedule and ability to get our grandson in to get the care he needs. Just wish the Lake Charles office had a sick kid/well kid division like Sulphur. Great staff

Dr. Richert is wonderful! We’ve seen him several times and he is always warm, attentive, and thorough. As a first time mom, I‘ve had many questions/concerns; he listens to each one patiently and doesn’t make me feel like a burden. My newborn had some abnormal lab results that he closely monitored with repeated screenings/calls. We really enjoy seeing him and it’s a relief to have found someone we feel safe entrusting our daughter’s health with. We hope to continue seeing him through the years as she grows.

I came for a 1st appointment and was told I was late. I wasn't. Everyone was on the phone when I walked in and the person I checked in with wasn't at her desk when I arrived. Was told I got a text to fill out forms, I didn't and still haven't. Apparently you should come way earlier to appts cuz it's your fault when the employees take phone calls and someone isn't at their desk.
