Finding a daycare that truly nurtures and educates children is every parent’s dream, and TLE-Oakleaf has far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we felt the warmth, dedication, and passion of the staff.

The progress we’ve seen in our children have been remarkable. Not only have their confidence grown, but their learning has flourished. Every day, they come home excited to share new words, songs, and skills they’ve learned. The structured yet loving environment fosters curiosity, creativity, and a genuine love for learning.

The engaging curriculum, hands-on activities, and encouragement from the staff have truly made a difference.

Beyond academics, the daycare instills kindness, teamwork, and independence, preparing children for the next stages of their development. We couldn’t be more grateful for the care, patience, and dedication that this team provides. If you’re looking for a daycare that feels like an extension of family and prioritizes both education and emotional growth, The Learning Experience -Oakleaf is the perfect choice!

I truly cannot express enough how thankful I am for the team at The Learning Experience in Oakleaf.

My son is truly my world, I am very protective over him.
When I was given a job opportunity I could not pass up for my family I was VERY hesitant on my son being in childcare. I enrolled him in another daycare which he was taken out of within months due to his safety and not trusting the staff.

I was very nervous about placing him in another daycare and him not being taken care of up to my standards. But I will say after our tour I was overwhelmed with relief, I finally felt like he was going to be in the hands where I knew I would have nothing to worry about. Where I could go to work and actually breath not worrying every second if he was okay.

He has been in daycare at this location for about 8 months now. I truly don't even look at the staff as workers. These people are a second family to my son. My husband is deployed in Italy & honestly without them I don't know how I would be getting through these six months.

This facility deserves a 5 star score if not higher. The staff including the director all the way to my sons daycare teachers are incredible human beings. I have honestly never walked into that building and felt it being a negative environment. You can tell they LOVE what they do and they adore our children.

Thank you for caring for my son when I have needed the help. I will never be able to thank you enough!

Walking into The Learning Experience (TLE) Oakleaf this morning to drop off my son, Khalef, I overheard Ms. Jayden giving a tour. The wealth of knowledge she displayed and her overall demeanor immediately sold me on the facility, and we’re already a proud part of the TLE family! That was just one of many positive experiences we’ve had here.

Mrs. Kaylee and Ms. Stephanie are absolute god-sends. The entire team, especially in the Preppers class, has been so patient and understanding with my son on his potty training journey. Their support has been instrumental in preparing him for his upcoming transition into the next classroom. We couldn’t be happier with the care and dedication shown by the staff at TLE Oakleaf!

On the 23rd of May 2023, my son Santiago had been a part of the learning experience for about 2 months and I was 35 weeks pregnant with my second son. On that day I took my son Santiago to his one year dental appointment. That morning, as I was leaving the house, we said goodbye to my husband and jokingly said I’m having contractions, Might have the baby today. He looked at me crazy, as I was only 35 weeks pregnant. I did with the doctors always recommend which was drink water and make sure to empty out your bladder. While at the dentist, mid appointment, my contraction started ramping up, significantly!
dentist: are you okay?
Me: I’m having contractions.
Dentist: do you need us to call someone?
Me: no! as she helped me fill out paperwork because I was bracing myself. I left the appointment and called my husband crying and saying we needed to go to the hospital. He asked if I wanted him to pick me up. I said no! (I didn’t want to leave my car 35 minutes away.) I then started driving my son to daycare with full on contractions. About 10 minutes into the drive my husband calls to check up on me. We agreed he would shower quickly and head to the daycare to meet me because he was in the middle of mowing the yard. I was still over 20 minutes away and we live about seven minutes away from the daycare. When I got there, Santiago, who is usually good about walking on his own wanted to be carried, and wouldn’t stop crying until I carried him. I’m still having full on contractions and they’re only getting worse. At this point, I know I’m in labor, but I’m in denial because it’s too early. And with my luck, Santiago was out of diapers and wipes, so I had to take those in. And as the unorganized queen I am, I was unorganized that day and didn’t have the wipes and the diapers in a backpack. So I’m carrying my son, half a bag of diapers, and wipes all at once. I get through the first door, and well I forgot the key fob. I couldn’t get in through the second door so I start knocking impatiently. I can see through the glass door, Miss Benisha, smiling at me and then realizing I was in distress. I saw the the smile on her face became a confused look. She pressed the button for me to open the door and come in, but at this point, I couldn’t open the door. Keep in mind, I’m still knocking on the door impatiently with everything in my hands! Miss Benisha then opens the door quickly and I finally said out loud, “I’m in labor” as I practically throw my child on her and drop all the diapers and the wipes on the floor. Miss Kaylee then rushes to me to comfort me as I am now on the floor in the middle of the front office. I was bracing myself when Miss Jayden places a pillow on the floor for my knees. Miss Shanci then asked if I wanted her to call an ambulance. I said no, I’m waiting for my husband. Side note, where is my husband? Why did I beat him to the daycare? Miss Kaylee then sits beside me and starts rubbing my back and comforts me. And then I realized miss Shanci called the ambulance anyway because I could hear them from afar getting closer and closer. They get there and I’m refusing help because all I want is my husband. As I’m questioning why my husband is not there he finally shows up with a confused look as to why the ambulance was there and what was going on and all the people surrounding me. I was in active labor.

I am so grateful to have been shown compassion from these beautiful amazing women. They stuck by my side until I left. I was priority. This is why the learning experience is family. I’d tell you the rest of the story but there is a word limit. I did In fact have a little, healthy, premature, 5lb 6 oz baby ready for the world.

There are not enough positive things to say about our experience with The Learning Experience at Oakleaf! They have made our first experience with VPK so easy and enjoyable. From the moment you walk in the front door, you are greeted by the friendliest and most accommodating staff and teachers. Ms. Natalie has been the best teacher for our girl. She has grown so much academically and in maturity thanks to Ms. Natalie’s tireless and gracious efforts.
I cannot recommend this school enough! Our two other children will most certainly be going to TLE in the future!!

My experience with TLE so far has been amazing. My child has literally never been happier and once she gets dropped off I can relax knowing she’s in good hands. Special shoutout to Miss Kaylee who’s always ready for my 100 questions, always with a smile on her face. My baby and I appreciate you all very much!

Ever since moving to Jacksonville I’ve always wanted my daughter to go to this school. She has been attending for almost a year now and she’s has been loving it! She used to come home repeating Spanish words she learned at school, now all talks she about her teacher Ms. S! She loves her friends, and the fun things she gets to do while learning. I’ve grown to love the learning through play approach and how much she has learned and grown since being at this school. She has all the resources and tools to learn and thrive We plan on being with the TLE until they kick her out! 😜
