I went to my neighborhood Home Depot, looking to purchase a new Washer dryer combo. The salesman in the appliance department was busy with a large order so I went to customer service and was greeted by Cathy. She was incredibly kind and I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't know more about appliances than the gentleman actually working in the department! She made my shopping experience fun and I know exactly what to expect with my delivery. HOME DEPOT, TRANSFER CATHY TO APPLIANCES! WE NEED HER THERE! Although she was great in customer service too!

Do not use Home Depot delivery service. Placed one order came right away , so easy said I’ll do another one . Bad move two days later from promised delivery and still no order . Called Home Depot can’t get a straight answer always an excuse. Delivery driver didn’t show up, well get in your Home Depot truck and bring me my order .

Alex that works in the back with the forklift is amazing. I appreciate his help and the patience of the staff back there in receivings. I delivered there and was having a hard time with my trailer. Thank you so much Alex. I was able to make it somewhere to park right on time.

This is what they expected me to take. The last picture is what they had in stock. No help outside everyone too busy talking outside in the parking lot. Sad what HomeDepot has become. Got to hunt down someone to help. Then they have to call someone to help. Then you wait for no one to help and figure it out on your own. Lowes is looking a lot better to me every day.

HOME DEPOT IS FOR EVERYONE!!!
I’ve been a Lowe’s customer for years and even worked for corporate. I always gravitate to them but on a busy Saturday with a project I was tackling, I was forced to walk out. I really needed advice and direction and there was only 1 person in Millwork with an endless ringing phone. He was overwhelmed (rightfully so) but really short with me as he was inundated and on his way to help another customer.
I drove off not wanting to even do this project anymore.
Across the street was Home Depot. I figured I’d at least take a peek since I am new to town but have always been lead to believe they focus on contractors and not the DIYer.
I was so wrong.
Besides the amount of people working in Millwork that day (I saw at least 5!) I was warmly greeted by Chris, the Store Manager. He took time to help me figure this project out, was delightfully happy and helped me find all the supplies! He gave me a lot of encouragement to get this project done.
Walking out with 12ft trim was a challenge and I was rung up by an actual employee not forced to do this at self checkout.
As I left, someone was outside practically begged to help me get to my car and load it. I didn’t catch his name but he even thanked me for coming in. Wow-just wow!
Is this location a unicorn or is this standard?!

Sorry Lowe’s, I matter here. My projects are important and I’ll spend my money here from now on.

Called to ask about a return and explained daughter had purchased a grill for her dad but he needed an impact. Said we didn’t have the reciept because he didn’t want hurt his daughters feelings and say she got the wrong one. The manager on the phone was understanding and said no problem…just bring it in and we will issue credit on a gift card and he can get what he needs..after driving a little over an hour we get there and the same guy I had talked to said even though it’s brand new the system won’t allow me to return it without a reciept. Nothing I can do the system won’t accept it. Now another hour drive home and again back tomorrow after getting reciept from daughter. Huge waste of time and gas.

I went there today and bought 10years of mulch there was not anyone available to help. I had to load and unload myself I called to speak to the Manager her attitude was not really worried about it said she would handle it did not believe her. I am a female 55 years old what customer service will take my business elsewhere!!!
