Dr. Schlapper has been my doctor and friend for years, he actually cares about his patients, he loves to talk to everyone about their daily life and is very understanding of his patients needs, his staff especially Rachel which is no longer there, She was my favorite staff, her and Amanda. His new desk clerk Lydia she seems pretty cool, she’s actually a return staff member. But everyone there is always nice. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better doctor , Dr.S is truly an amazing person, inside and out 💜

My first appointment with Dr. Schlapper was a week ago. When you walk in for your appointment you are not looked down upon or dismissed quickly. The office staff is inviting and friendly and will help with any questions you may have. Dr. Schlapper is hands-down one of the best doctors I have seen in my 44 years of life! His demeanor and bed-side manner is caring, calm, positive, knowledgeable, thorough, attentive, and personal. Honestly, what a wonderful thing to have, a doctor who actually cares about my well-being, is easy to talk to and takes his time to explain his thinking. He's a great doctor!

I have been seeing Dr. Schlapper for many years and he is great! However Rachel, the receptionist at front desk, makes the experience exceptional! She's professional, efficient and knowledgeable, yet fun and down to earth! Thank you for always making me feel like a priority!!

Been seeing Dr. Schlapper for many years now. I highly recommend him! I've had a lot of bad experiences with other doctors, but Dr. Schlapper is the best Doctor I have been to in my entire life. He's non judgemental and provides a safe and comfortable environment. The staff is amazing too! I am so thankful for The Healing Center.

Visited Dr Schlapper today for the first time. Was apprehensive but Amanda at the front desk assured me I'd come to the right place. She made it easy and welcoming right from the start. Dr Schlapper was everything and more the rest of the reviews say. Very professional, caring and interested in my life. He took his time talking with me and gave me hope. I totally recommend this practice. They are Angels!!!

Dr. Schlapper is awesome. Do yourself a favor and become a patient. He listens and talks to his patients while treating them with respect and kindness. I'm not sure if the added DO training makes him a better and more compassionate doctor, but he is a rare breed among "cattle herders". He doesn't rush you out the door, calls in medicine between appts if you can't get in right away. Not to mention his experience and medical knowledge. Unfortunately, most doctors don't feel they have to be nice or lend an ear to their patients. They just tell you to "Suck it up, what do you want me to do?" The first thing Dr. Schlapper says to me when I walk in is "Hi Dan, how have you been? How's work going? Anything new in the IT world?" He knows my name, where i work, and if I started eating breakfast yet? Can't say enough good things about him.

I love Dr Schlapper! He will go above and beyond for you-I don't know many docs that will do that. He has the heart that's needed for this community. I recommend going to him over any of the other doctors in deland! And his office staff is quite amazing as well. I couldn't be happier with him as my Doctor!
