I cannot say enough about how amazing Bea and the crew at Hairy Hound are! I've been a customer for many years and encourage others to give them a shot, you will become a regular. These people truly care about the animals. My review would be pages if I listed out all the different ways they've looked out for my boys. My first visit here was (maybe)10 years ago at the other location. They had only taken cash back then. Instead of me going down the street to the ATM, the woman said don't worry about it, just drop it off on Monday! She didn't know me from Adam, I'd had 2 dogs groomed (decent$to potentially lose) but she was thinking of hassle and fees I might incur; I was astonished! My dogs looked adorable and didn't immediately want to bolt from the building, it was a great first impression! Key aspect is dogs comfort being in the space. After years of crying and fighting to get them into every other groomer, here, they walked in. I was hooked and it's only gotten better from there. When can anyone say a groomer noticed bloody stool and took sample to pass on? I trust Bea with my baby. As my dogs aged we went thru all sorts of different medical issues, Hairy Hound has always been receptive, knowledgeable on how to get the job done while maintaining dogs comfort. Frito recently turned 16, he's getting up there and idk how many more visits to Bea we will have, but he still goes in and chills. After sharing the news with Bea, she gave us an adorable bday gift- 2 chew toys and a hat. I love having found Bea and Hairy Hound - check them out you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely wonderful job. Haven't found a groomer like this in years. I have an XL breed, so a little pricey, but so worth it! Sorry. She never cooperates with outdoor photos lol

Took my dog here about a couple weeks ago. Although the staff was friendly the cleaning on my lab/pit wasn’t very good. He didn’t seem to be brushed properly and did not have a clean smell to him after I picked him up. His nails on his paws were not trimmed down properly at all.

We only went to this particular groomer because our original one changed locations and this one was more local. They also took my number and didn’t notify me when my dog was ready. Unfortunately will not be coming back here.

Bea & the entire staff are Wonderful! Bea listens to what type of cut I would like & she delivers 100%. I have had bad experiences at other places & I will always take my dog, Tucker, to The Hairy Hound. Bea & the staff are thoughtful, knowledgeable & caring!! I highly recommend them!!

The prices are affordable, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t meticulous!
My Bichon Frisé, Barker, looks better than ever and all of my family members complimented his new haircut.
They’re also very nice and will accommodate for your dog if your pup has specific needs to be met!

where do i start? this place has a lovely and homely atmosphere, plus they treated my boy larry WONDERFULLY. i was a couple minutes late but the staff was still so nice to me. dropped off my prince and less than two hours later, i returned home with a king(who smells like daisies)!! I didn’t catch the name of who helped me(she had pretty purple highlights) but she seemed very motherly and assertive and i immediately trusted her mindset with my larry; he’s a rescue and sometimes doesn’t do well with strangers. but not only did i hear he was patient with her, on the car ride home he was relaxed and quiet as a mouse! unlike the last groomer, when he was yowling the whole way back. To boot, this establishment only charged me $60 where my last groomer was $85 per cat before tip. i tried giving her the original amount i intended paying despite the crazy low price(larry is a persian and i know it’s a lot of hair to deal with, so i always prepare to drop at least $100 in advance). instead of taking the whole tip, she gave me a HUGE discount on my next visit which was so sweet of her. i have three cats and one happens to have a matt i can’t brush out so i will definitely be back soon!! i will note she didn’t wash larry’s face, however i’m honestly happier with that because i know it would’ve stressed him much more and i’m so glad she was considerate of his personal space. overall had a flawless experience with this groomer and will probably never go to anyone else!! 100000/10 recommendation!
