I’d say the discovery house helped me out a ton when I needed it the most. I was living on the street while fighting alcoholism and looking for a place to heal. The staff were always supportive and great at checking in on you too see how they can help. The detox is a great way to recollect yourself, especially if you’ve had a rough time in the recent past. I would not recommend rehab to just anyone, but for some it may save a life.

I couldn't be more happy with the level of care and education I received at The Discovery House. Everyone was so supportive and tuned in to each individuals needs. The faculty was clean and well organized with the daily groups and provided outside meetings and events as well.
I feel completely confident in the tools I received to go home with the knowledge I need to stay sober and to successfully live my life without addiction.

The Discovery House has been a tremendous program in my recovery journey. Nearly all the staff are amazing and engage with every client, sharing their personal journeys and how to build a strong personal foundation. The AM staff is outstanding but the PM staff supervisor and shift lead spend more time playing cards and sitting than client engagement and working. The food couldn't be better, as well as Mickey and Kristina (The Boss ladies) are wonderful and helpful. My counselor Stanley truly cares and was vital in my journey to recovery. The counselor Victor is completely worthless and I really hope that they fire him. Carly the AM shift supervisor is kind, caring, always available and has such great insight for any situation. The medical staff are attentive and extremely knowledgeable. With minor changes that admin have listened to and I've seen them start to implement, this would be a five star rating. If you read this Danny boy I love you and thank you for knowing how to handle me :). Make sure to ADVOCATE for yourself, they do listen and are happy to accommodate. The Discovery house has set me on a right path for recovery and I couldn't be more grateful. If your reading this and you are powerless against your addiction and life has become unmanageable, PLEASE call The Discovery House as your life depends on it and they are in the business of saving lives.

When I first arrived I was welcomed by 4 members and felt very comfortable. All other staff members were very friendly and met many detox patients. Following day I got right into the classes and groups. Every counselor and group leader was knowledgeable and welcoming . Groups were fun and helpful. Many patients shared unlike previous treatment centers that I've been to. I got so much out of the groups. Eric my counselor was amazing. He dug deep into my issues that I needed to work on. Many staff members are also Christian which really helped me . Aaron spent some time with me going over the bible and really helped me .

I would strongly recommend this treatment center to everyone.

Thank you TDH for all your help. I will do great. I believe in myself more then I have ever done before.

I can't say enough about the staff and the facility. The staff was super helpful in nursing me back on the road to my recovery. When I arrived, I was not in good health and the entire staff was very patient with me and my progress. With their help I was able to get back on my feet and I was eating, sleeping and restabilizing myself so I could get back to being sober and living a healthy lifestyle. The counselors, administrators and support staff all understood where I was coming from and with their knowledge and a little bit of willingness I was back physically and mentally within a short time. The Chefs and the food are amazing as well, with their consistency of three well balanced meals daily. They also catered to any allergies or restrictions concerning diets. Their detox process is very attentive in both nursing staff and technicians as well, ensuring that I got the necessary medication to help with my withdrawals.
I will be recommending The Discovery House to anyone who comes in contact with this vicious disease.

Being that this is my first time in detox I wasn’t sure what to expect and naturally there is anxiety with being in a new environment. However, the staff are extremely nice and helpful and they come with a ton of experience as they have also gone through sobriety so its very comforting. The people in treatment are also super awesome, nice and helpful. It’s a really great environment if you want to begin your journey to sobriety. Good luck!!!

This place was so good to me. Each and every one of the staff made me feel supported. Loved. Cared for. And so much more. The people I met and had the privilege of working through my program made the experience so much better. The food was probably one of the best parts of the experience. The counselors were all phenomenal. The staff didn’t hesitate to make me feel welcomed and showed so much love to me. I’m so happy and grateful to have found such an amazing place like this where everyone is working together to help support each and every one of us. I will forever be thankful to TDH and looking forward to the future and keeping up what they showed me I can do and who I can be in this life.

My experience with the discovery house was life changing. It changed my life. I was apprehensive when I made the phone call and they started talking about flying me out I thought surely this must be a scam. I couldn’t have been more wrong. From the moment I walked through the doors the place established itself as a reputable place. They took care of everything. They made sure I was healthy before even starting treatment. The staff was amazing. They made sure I was safe and comfortable. When the withdrawal symptoms got worse they checked on me every half hour to make sure I was safe and comfortable. When I finally started feeling better I began to see another side of it. The groups were informative and entertaining. The houses are beautiful and clean. I don’t know if I could have gotten real help anywhere else. I am eternally grateful to this place but specifically the staff. After having lived the way I had the staff built me back up and worked with me every step of the way. I give this place the highest review I can.
