Our dad spent his last 10 months at The Chalet. We looked at half a dozen different care facilities and once we visited The Chalet, we knew we found the place for him. They were the only facility offering a private room with a private bathroom which was huge! The staff has a very loving nature and always seemed to genuinely care about the residents. My husband and I visited almost every day unannounced and never witnessed anything unacceptable. They also made a point of providing entertainment including games, arts and crafts and live music that our dad especially enjoyed!
I would like to thank the Director, Loi for the great job she’s done hiring a great staff and keeping her standards high.

This is a wonderful place. The staff are kind, caring, and cheerful. Loi, the director, is very sweet and easy to communicate with. She has a real rapport with the people living at the Chalet and makes them feel at home, and is also very quick to respond to messages from family members and is great about keeping families in the loop about what's going on with their loved one. I can't recommend Chalet Montara highly enough.

I recently visited this residential facility and I’m impressed with the welcoming and professional staff especially their administrator, Loi.
The facility's accommodations were nothing short of outstanding. The rooms were spacious, beautifully furnished, and meticulously maintained. The attention to detail in every aspect of the room design, from the comfortable beds to the tasteful decor, made me feel instantly at ease and provided a true sense of luxury.
The staff members were the heart and soul of this residential facility. Their genuine warmth, professionalism, and commitment to exceptional service were evident from the moment I arrived. They went above and beyond to ensure that I felt welcome, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and with a smile. Their attentiveness and dedication truly made me feel like a valued guest.
One of the standout features of this residential facility was its tranquil surroundings. Nestled amidst nature, it provided a serene and peaceful atmosphere that allows their residents to unwind and relax. Four years ago we had to make a hard decision to look for an assisted living for a family member.
An employee at a rehabilitation center recommended Chalet Montara and it was one of the best moves we have done. Loi and her staff have been wonderful. We do not live in Montara but our family member wanted to stay in the area where he has been living for the last 30 years. Every time we have visited the building it has been very clean and our family member has been very happy. The communication with Loi and her staff is amazing. They always reach out to us if there is a problem. Our family member raves about the food and has gained 30 pounds which is a good thing. We feel very blessed to have found Loi and her staff at Chalet Montara.

It’s never easy sending your mom away but right from the start Loi made us feel at ease with the decision and I knew she was in good hands. Loi and her staff are caring, calming and always able to answer any questions. She gives us updates on how our mom is doing and will help you ask for what you need with outside doctors. The new facility is so spacious and the center garden is an added bonus. My kids and I happened to stop by one day during music time and it was so great to see the residents being engaged and getting to use different instruments. I know my mom is getting the care she needs there that we weren’t able to give her at home.
