Staff is extremely helpful and very attentive. Ladies in the front are always nice and have welcoming arms. Janna is especially knowledgeable and helped me with efficiency during my time there.

The Center is a great place to come to for anything you need.

I love this facility. They got rid of the old grumpy providers and now have young but not too young kind considerate and knowledgable nurse practioners. I never have to wait, I am usually able to be seen day of or day after at very least w many time slots avail. They provide excellent care everytime and listen to me when I ask questions.

This place will get you in the same day or the day after and they will get the job done asap, no waiting for 30 mins to 1 hour like I do almost every time I go to Planned Parenthood. My time is more valuable to me than flawless customer service. They arent hyper funded like Planned Parenthood so they probably cant afford to train everyone on perfect customer service practices. However, good enough is good enough. Youre getting free or nearly free healthcare at a clean facility w trained professionals. It may not come wrapped up with a huge glittery satin bow on it, but it is just as effective, with a tiny little bow, and that is what matters. Leave your ego at the door and this place will serve your needs efficiently and within a day or two. If you need the enormous luxurious bow maybe itd be better for you to wait 1-2 weeks to get an appt w Planned Parenthood.

I never leave reviews for places, but I feel the need to tell others about my experience here.

The clinic personnel who gave me my nexplanon implant was neither friendly nor empathetic. I didn't get her name, but she had reddish hair and long eyelashes. I felt very rushed the entire appointment, which made me anxious and when I expressed my nervousness about getting a numbing shot, she brushed me off. I asked for a squeeze ball or something like that to hang on to while she gave me the shot, but she didn't have one. She told me to just hang on to my jacket and then offered her assistant's hand instead. When she put my implant in, she did it incorrectly and had to take it out and try again because it was too shallow initially. I thought that was unprofessional and I expected better from a medical professional. All throughout the procedure she seemed like she was in a hurry to get somewhere, which did not help the fact that I already didn't feel at ease. Afterward, I expressed how relieved I was to be done because there was more pain than I expected (not to mention the absolute huge bruise that would develop on my arm after), she asked me if I wanted a lollipop. I sheepishly told her I would (because it made me feel like a kid, but I really did want one) only for her to say "Well, I'd give you one if I had one". That may sound kind of funny, but it was really the icing on the disappointment cake for this whole experience. Overall, I wish more patience, comfort, and consideration had been put into my experience. I do not see myself coming back to this establishment because I felt I was not respected.

I understand that this establishment may be the only viable place for those seeking reprodictive medical care, however, please proceed with caution. I reccommend this place for STD and pregnancy tests, but that's about it.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I want to warn other people of what they might experience here. I want to start by saying I am in my third year of studying to be a midwife, so patient and health care are not knew to me. I received extremely demeaning and impatient care here multiple times by the same provider. She was extremely dismissive when I wanted to discuss all forms of birth control before settling on the IUD. I asked her to go slowly while inserting and to tell me what she was doing as she did it. She was super annoyed that I would even ask that, and then didnt do it. I returned a week later with symptoms of a misplaced IUD, she disregarded everything I said I was experiencing in my body, told me I was wrong. She then begrudgingly removed the IUD without respect. I wont ever be going back. This is a place people go because we might not financially have other options, it is sad to know this is the kind of care being provided.

I have spoken to friends since this experience who have had similar experiences here. I often wonder if this provider would have been more respectful, and less dismissive if she knew I that I am also in the medical field? In the end trust your body even if the provider you get doesnt belive you. Be cautious here.

With covid going on there services are unique. You wait in your car and talk to the doctor on the phone without ever seeing them. I wasn't asked any questions besides what I was there for. I was also given birth control with more hormones than my body can handle because they were out of the low hormonal birth control I asked about. I appreciate that I was given something walking out the door I would just encourage anyone visiting to ask a LOT of questions. I also was not asked once if I had any questions which I felt was not a good experience at a doctors office 🤷 overall I'm greatfull for the service and the people showing up to work so they can open the doors but I wish that I was given more care and attention as a patient.

I love the center so much. It’s really helpful that they are able to prescribe birth control on the spot, otherwise I would had to become a patient at a PA office which can take months to get established and copays to get seen with a checkup. At the center I was able to get the same birth control that I would have received at a doctors office and they kept it in house, I didn’t even have to get a prescription filled and they gave me 6 months up front so I didn’t have to come back for a while. I love that they come to Cuesta once a week because I am a college student I just wish that they would come one more day a week to campus.

I've been going here for years an think there no better place to go for any issue you might have. The people who work there are always nice and the doctors know what they are talking about when discussing an matter with you. If you end up with something and need help they will test and give you medication immediately always free. I think the center can be way easier and more helpful than a doctor in a doctors office.
