These people need a lesson in phone etiquette. I worked 20 years with local & state health depts & if I had talked to people on the phone like they do, would have lost my job. Someone at the state level needs to teach these people manners & they need to return phone calls. People in lower Tallapoosa County are tax payers too, not just the people that live at the lake!

To save yourself the trouble if you are anything other than a child or pregnant woman don't waste your time here trying to get on Medicaid.. she wouldn't even take our application, she advised us to drive to dadeville or better yet Opelika because they usually do older people or disabled people..I think it would be great if they put a sign on the door so people don't waste their time coming to this one... On another note the lady working the front was super sweet

The phone just rings off the hook. It’s pitiful that people get paid to NOT work. I’m sure they are in there having a conversation about everything that happening in their lives!
