If I could give -Negative stars I would. -100.
Front desk told me they had just ‘changed’ their name but were ‘the same’ company.
That put a red flag up as I have seen it happen in Construction...declare bankruptcy after hiding assets then change the company name and keep going.
I had applied for a clinical study and arrived early for my appointment. I was there over 4 hours.
The person drawing blood had to poke me 3 times and they took out 8 vials!
The physical was over an hour. They promised to send all test results to my regular Dr.
I was accepted and sent home with medication and information.
I was to have been paid $100 for my time that day. My card was only loaded for $50. I had to call 3 times to get the rest of the money loaded onto it. BIG red flag #2.
After taking the medication for a week, I got an email telling me I no longer qualified for the program because my ‘blood work was too good’. RED FLAG #3! I had told them my medical issues were finally under control and being closely monitored. My blood pressure and blood sugar were as good as they had been for me in 10 years. They KNEW this and said it was great. They said some people are not under control, some are. They were glad I was compliant with my Dr., educated myself, took my medications, stayed on a Low Carb diet and did moderate exercise.
But they dropped me...not over the phone or by letter....but in email! In that e mail I was told to return my unused meds. I waited another week after that to get an envelope with postage on it. I put it in the mail.
2 days later it came back to me, insufficient postage.
HUGE RED FLAG #4.
When I tried to E mail them about this issue, they had my email blocked by EVERY single person in the company!! Seriously WHO DOES THAT?
I knew they needed the meds back. So I used a friends e mail to write them, then told them who I was in the body of it. They replied and asked me if I could drive the 40 minutes each way to hand the pills to them. When I replied ‘no’....I was blocked under my friends e mail address. FINALE HUMONGOUS RED FLAG.
I am a polite professional and mother/grandmother who is active in my church and does regular charity work.
I did nothing to deserve this. My only e mails were to reply to theirs. When I called and asked about WHY they did this, I was put on hold....forever. I assumed they had blocked my phone by then and never called them again.
How UNPROFESSIONAL this company is.
I would NEVER work for them. I could not work there and watch them play with people’s lives like this.
I threw out the pills and got on with my life.
10 days later I received an envelope from a Dr., with no note...but with 6 stamps in it.
I assume it was from them but it did not matter. I had tried and they blocked me and were ignorant of what kind of postage it took to get it mailed back. They also refused to speak to me on the phone.
They shut down all communication, so the burden of this is on them.
OH...and 5 months later...my Dr. STILL has not received the blood work and physical paperwork.
Yeah...I have done medical studies before but Synexus is very poorly run and unreliable.
RUN from this company and do not look back!
