I visited Sutter Medical Center a few times for different reasons. I felt better and better every time I was there, from the parking garage to the security and from the nurses to the doctors. They're professional and friendly. I also loved the condition of the hospital itself. I just feel like I'm in a five-star hotel when I am in there. Sutter Medical Center is one of the best hospitals I have visited, regardless of the property itself or the excellent workers they have.

Amazing staff, very kind and very attentive. The hospital is clean and easy to navigate. Parking was a breeze and the cafeteria has pretty good food for a hospital! Thank you guys for taking care of my grandmother!

I'd like to thank the nurses and staff that assisted with Dr. Shepherd on Wednesday (12/11) for my mother's surgery. I had nothing to worry about since everyone was so kind, patient, understanding of my mom's condition. Getting ready for a surgery is already a stressful process, but I'm thankful that the doctors, nurses, and facility staff were extremely kind and friendly with my mom. And I appreciated how they kept me informed on how my mom was doing when I had to wait at the lobby; it really put my mind at ease. I would also like to give a special thank you to Alison and Bianca for their kind get well card. God bless you all and wishing you all the best Christmas and New Year's.

The Birth center was AMAZING!
Any procedure I have ever had in this hospital every doctor was attentive, I was not judged, and was frequently asked how I felt. Any time I have to bring my children we are always in & out! I love Sutter Medical Center. I only had one bad experience and that was with a funky nurse who didn't really want to be at work. It was a male nurse. He had the nerve to tell me if I didn't like where I was I can always go to another hospital. Even with this experience I was offered advice and help for options when this problem occurred!

This is for the cardiac department. This hospital does not communicate with each other, they did not tell my husband he couldn't stay the night in a reclining chair until his 3rd night here, then told him it's against policy. After 3 days. First he was told he couldn't because it a 2 bed room, then a supervisor came in and it it's because it's busy and covid and flu are increasing. My wall chart says no food, but every day someone comes in offering food, bringing in food, or offering a menu. They talk loud at night, I brought that up, and nurse claimed they talk loud because most seniors are deaf. My roommate is not, neither am I. Severel were rude, no bed side manners. They do not follow up with me when they said they would on tests, I'd have to keep asking. I would not recommend.

We were in the pediatric icu, my nephew was on life support. The nurses and everyone was so amazing and helpful with everything anyone needed. They helped to entertain the bigs sisters. They made so many keepsake mementos for his parents. I just want to thank them for all they did!

The nurses are amazing the doctors are extremely rude overconfident so much so that they hurt people extremely bad be very careful at this place advocate for the patients be there as much as possible and watch the doctors extremely close they do not have the patient's well-being in mind they're after paychecks be careful. She has spent six weeks out of the last 2 months between two hospitals battling a terrible infection in her chest incision where this hospital removed a large amount of her flesh. Even though she has a wound vac they are insisting that she leave the hospital and go to a care home I don't believe the care home is going to do a good enough job I think she still needs to be in the hospital if this infection comes back she will absolutely not make it because they've already had to remove such a large amount of flesh. They're telling me if she stays longer than the doctor says she said that she will get a bill that's crazy. The only reason my mom is alive is cuz she's extremely tough and that her family's been backing her up otherwise these hospitals and doctors would have killed her. Do not let these surgeons push you into something

This is for the Pediatric ER! After 2 days and many hours wasted at 2 other ERs (UCD is the absolute worst) I brought my daughter here because her neck was super swollen and she could barely breathe, well they seen it was urgent got us right in and began labs X-rays etc immediately. I am so grateful for this hospital and the whole Pediatric ER team, they showed compassion, concern and were absolutely amazing and I’m seeing this becoming rare amongst our hospitals here in Northern Cali and it’s sad, they’re overwhelmed and under staffed and while this hospital faces the same problems they have an effective system so Kudos to whoever is running this place..UCD take notes
