StatMed is a really nice urgent care in Ocala FL. I was there on Feb 12th after twisting my ankle. The staff were all very kind and helpful. The lobby was clean and bright with plenty of seating. Check-in was a breeze.

Danielle got me in a wheelchair and is the first nurse who ever followed protocol for taking my BP! She waited until I was seated, relaxed and not answering questions. The PA-C, Daniel Allen, talked to me, looked at my foot, had me explain what happened and ordered x-rays. The x-ray tech was very careful as he moved me down the hall for x-rays and also took the time to talk to me.

The PA explained my ankle fracture and how my recovery would go. He also assured me that I would not need surgery or a hard cast for my particular fracture. Everything he told me was confirmed by the orthopedic surgeon that I saw 2 weeks later. I would highly recommend StatMed to anyone needing Urgent Care in the Ocala area.

From the moment we walked in there, the place was clean and organized. The staff made you feel welcomed and was very pleasant. My daughter was sick, and the PA explained her illness and we did not seemed rushed to get out of there. He took his time with explanations and continually asked if we had any questions. They were very thorough a you could tell they were compassionate about caring for people! Will definitely go back if an urgent care arises!

The staff and doctors are fantastic. I brought my wife in a few months back without insurance and they were able to identify appendicitis. We got surgery the next day and they gave us an affordable price. So when I had some back problems now covered by insurance we came back and were able to get me back as a new patient within 30 minutes and did xrays to set me up on a recovery plan. Dr Allen was kind and gave me direct knowledge to help not only now but in the future. They will be my go to urgent care for the foreseeable future.

Visit took a bit longer than previous visits. That said, treatment was fast and direct. The staff are always polite and respectful. They are my go to for medical attention that doesn’t require a hospital or a full checkup. Highly recommend. One star off for the extended time I had to wait for the doctor once in the exam room.

My wife and my self went together and they had both see the PA together. I thought that was great. I thought the care was very good. She spent time with me about my problem and told me what meds she was giving me and how they were going to help me. Overall I was very happy with my results.

I took my dad there twice. Both visits he had exceptional care . From the min you walk in and meet the front staff you feel the compassion and competence of the office . The nurses and Drs are amazing . Loved Virginia and Jim .

Went to this urgent care for a finger infection. While the treatment was uncomfortable, the results were achieved. The facility is spacious, the staff in the urgent care area were pleasant and polite, attentive and concerned.
No one likes to wait especially when uncomfortable and fortunately the wait was minimal. Facility can handle a variety of medical needs besides urgent care
