I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the support and guidance I've received from your team. Your dedication to helping me navigate my journey has been invaluable. The resources you provided, like insights into the DSM-5 and ICD-10 codes, as well as the encouragement to pursue my own research, have profoundly impacted my growth and understanding.
I also want to share some feedback to help improve the experience for others. It would be beneficial to regularly review the treatment plan during visits to ensure we stay on track and understand our goals. Moving forward, I've realized the importance of having clear standards of care and seeing the treatment plan upfront. This helps set expectations and ensures a collaborative approach to care.
Thank you for being part of my journey. Your compassion and support have been crucial in helping me find my path, and I now have a clearer understanding of what I seek in my healthcare journey.

I have been a patient here three times, the first two times both concluding when my therapist felt I had the tools I needed. I used to not be ashamed to admit it until seeing what it's become now, the first two times were great, everyone so pleasant, helpful, kind, and really seemed to care. The third time I came back however it was completely different, after hearing how my husband had trouble getting ahold of them for appointments, or scheduling, I expressed this concern with the nurse when I made my return trip she gave me her number and with her extension, this made me feel better about the whole situation until the day of my appointment which was using Telehelp. Never received the link, never received a call like I used to if I wasn't there for my appointment due to links being missed, or not sent out. I called both the main line and the nurse's extension multiple times, left multiple messages, never heard anything back, still haven't. It just shows how little they care.
All of the above is bad to me but even WORSE my husband went to this place too, he got very uncomfortable with with his psychiatrist by the name of Richard Vowles and when they expressed this with them they refused to let him change doctors without first CONFRONTING the one he felt uncomfortable with in a MENTAL HEALTH FACILTIY.
Inconclusion read the reviews, I used to refer this place to everyone I cared about and now I'd hesitate to even refer people I hate to this place, as I have standards even for people I hate unlike this place which seems to have no standards.

My therapist is great but the scheduling team either needs more help or they need a new system. I had to reschedule my virtual appointment because they had no rooms available for me. I bring my infant with me to my appointments so I always show up on time and call beforehand to make sure my appointment is confirmed. I tried to call twice about this appointment, once last week and again today and no one answered the phone and they have no voicemail set up. When I brought up my concerns they didn't apologize or take responsibility for not being able to provide me with a room for my appointment. They blamed my therapist and being understaffed. I understand that these things happen but they couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't happen again. Now I'm having to find a new place to have my virtual therapy appointments because I can't rely on the actual building to have rooms available at my appointment time.

i wasn’t even a patient here but i was trying to become one. i went there today at 1pm to enroll and the cut off is 2pm the lady at the counter refused to enroll me and she said i was “too late the cut off is 2pm” even though it was literally 1pm. i left crying and felt hopeless. they need to care more and do their job better.

Starting point has helped me a lot.
They genuinely care about people.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any experience with any of the therapists or professionals other than the intake. They were very thorough at intake and set me up with a few appointments. They also set me up with a group via Zoom but never sent the Zoom link or log in details, I’ve missed two weeks and they did not return my call asking for this info. You cannot get ahold of ANYONE. I just called and had to leave a voicemail to cancel any scheduled appointments with them because they have a fee for no show appointments and who knows if they even check their voicemail cause they sure as hell don’t call you back to let you know. I am very disappointed because I wanted help and they seemed like they really wanted to help but how is it any help if they don’t communicate with you!

I have had to reschedule with Emmanuel the psychiatrist for different times the first time was my mistake I called and rescheduled the person who rescheduled me double booked a manual so the day came that I was supposed to make that appointment and they called me and rescheduled it again another month and a half out at that point I had forgotten so the next day I got a call that I missed my appointment so I told Starting Point to set another appointment this time they said it for a check in not an evaluation I’m doing this for my own mental health but also to satisfy probation. I do not feel like Starting Point at this point is helping me the way that I need them to even though I’ve done as much as I possibly can to be a part of my recovery. I’m supposed to see my therapist every other week and I understand they are understaffed and overbooked however I am a recovering addict with severe mental health issues and the last time I seen her was the first week of December and I won’t see her again until mid January. I have called multiple times telling them I need to speak to a supervisor I need to speak to a therapist and their response is we are in open admission you’re gonna have to hold on and then I held for a total of 30 minutes. I asked to speak to a therapist which means I’m having issues if you work in a mental health place you should understand that this is so unacceptable and very disappointing

Did not care or treat patient correctly. Had to take my kid to be baker acted. We are elsewhere where she has been able to be medically treated not just patty cake sit down and talk. Also they do not answer phones or call back. I called after to inform them of what happened and they never called back, they show they do not care about the patients. It was a death situation and they didn’t even follow up on the condition.
