I have been going to St Francis for almost 4 years now, last week I seen a different Dr in the office and she was trying to persuade me into sleep therapy on line. Needless to say that I really didn’t come to the office to be persuaded into therapy. I came for my 5 month follow up for my medication. So when I got my prescriptions refilled, there was a reduction in my medication from 10 milligrams to 5 milligrams. So why would this Dr reduce my medication. The medication is non narcotic and no reason to try to wing me off of. When I called to ask why? There answer was, try this for a month and let us know how it works out for you. I have been taking this medication for a little time and it works. There’s no reason other than it works and didn’t need the change. I was completely content with the other Drs I have seen there until this last time. I liked that they are spiritually run and they put God first but as of now I am not happy with there decisions and may have to look for another sleep therapy office. For today I rated them as a 1 on the reviews and take this little review.

We felt the doctor really looked at all the issues that my husband experiences. And he explained things especially our questions. Overall, we were happy with the visit. ( Maybe we had to wait a little while to get in but it was worth the wait)

Dr. Averill takes time to understand his patients, listen to their concerns, and offer ways to help improve their overall health. The amount of time and effort spent on each patient is truly impressive to witness and also be apart of. Not only do I work here to see Dr. Averill’s incredible work at hand, but I’ve also been a patient here. And have gotten the same care he provides to everyone. His two PA’s are amazing! And are very knowledgeable. They too take time to care for their patients, with an understanding that everyone and every case is different💚

I have been struggling with lower respiratory issues and after getting a CT Scan that showed anomalies decided I needed a Pulmonary Specialist. I was referred to Dr Averill and as soon as I met him I knew I was going to be happy with him. He listened to my history and symptoms, asked me questions that I had not thought of as possibly being related to my issue and explained what he thought but also how we would confirm it. For the first time in a while of suffering when I walked out of his office I felt that we have a plan and we will now work that plan. Friendly, Knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Exactly what I look for in a Care Provider.

Dr Averil was very empathetic & addressed my sleep problems like no Doctor ever has. Other physicians usually prescribe whatever comes to their mind at the time. Some have even said, "Just take some Benadryl before bed". Dr. Averil studied my history and came up with an appropriate medicine that is not only starting to help me get sleep, but is actually improving the quality of my sleep. For any issues with sleep Dr Averil is the go to Doctor.
