I went in on April 23, 2025 to sell a shotgun and a Winchester model 64 with the serial number dating it 1938. The manager of the gun department didn’t even know how to look it up and then told me that it wasn’t pre-64 and then another person came out Dark hair, tattoos, no problem with the tattoos. I have them as well and he said the gun is definitely not pre1964 because no guns had serial numbers before 1964 and I told him he was wrong. I could prove it on the Internet and he got upset because I told him he was wrong And I told him I can prove it to you and he said you need to calm down and I told him. Calm down I just want to prove to you that you’re wrong and they both said we don’t want your guns take them and get out I went to The manager showed her proof and she said she would take care of it now whether she did or not I have no idea I have bought AR’s there. I bought thousands of dollars in ammunition, shooting table, fishing gear clothing, sporting goods, and I will never go back to Yuma sportsman’s warehouse ever again after being treated like that by two people they hired to work in the gun area that know nothing about guns

The young Hispanic clerk at the gun counter is full of attitude and refuses to engage customers with a simple, "can I help you". When I reached across the counter to see the price tag on a shotgun, that's when he engaged me by telling me that I couldn't go behind the counter. He then pointed at a chain with a sign on it, and then attached it across the opening on the counter. After scolding me, he then walks away from me still not interested in offering me any assistance. I made a comment to him the he didn't seem to want to help me. His comment to me was, "you have a voice, use it"! My retort was "Great customer service".

I used my voice and complained to the manager. It's unknown if she took my complaint serious enough to do anything about her rude clerk. I did indicate to her that I would never step foot in this store again and spend any of my money there. This type of customer service is commonplace in Yuma, AZ. I advised her that I would rather spend my money at their competitors, even if it cost me more!

Associate Michael was such a great help today with my nephews fishing needs. Michael was courteous, honest and very knowledgeable. His attention to detail was very well delivered. Very thorough in advice and even came back a couple of times to give us more advice, he kept thinking of things and that showed us how attentive and considerate he is as a person. He made my nephews birthday month the best!
Sportsmans Warehouse ya'll have a gem with Michael, will look forward to more visits !

Is Sportsman's pro-gun, or? I would like to give this place four stars -- on three previous occasions, I went in, processed my online order, it was about a four-star experience. Then there's this. Sportsman's is a long drive, so I decided to do two things in one day and go to the range earlier in the day, then arrive in the afternoon here to pick up my order. With America's current crime wave I didn't want to leave my bag of pistols in the car, so I put it in a shopping cart and took it with me. A simple bag, nothing fancy. A young guy at the register went on full alert! "You don't have any firearms in that bag, do you?" Yes, yes I do, I said, nothing to hide. He asked me the same question a second time! Like didn't you hear my reply? So I replied again, yes I do, here do you want to keep this somewhere? He seems really edgy, like dude, chill a little bit. He then questions me, like some kind of investigation, "Do you have any ammunition with you?" I told him No, here can we put this bag behind the counter, because I don't want to leave this in the car. He questions me a second time, "Do you have any ammunition with you!!?" kind of excited. I replied again, NO, just like I did the first. I told him he can put this range bag behind a counter, and he kind of freaks out, "No! No! I can't touch it! Imagine if 'something' happens!" Getting weird. So I walked in the back room, he hangs up these silly signs "Gun check in progress", I start to just hand him the bag, like here just put this on a shelf, and he goes "Ok set it up on this counter" like I'm going to have to open up the bag and we are going to itemize every pistol in there? Are you kidding me?! Forget it, I took it back out to the car. Imagine if there are criminals on the drive around. Not only would I possibly lose $2000 worth of handguns, but that's 6 firearms that are now going to be in the hands of bad people. I might make a note - I wasn't acting "fishy," and the range bag was a very plain and simple one, no silly velcro straps and "tactical" stuff all over it. Just a simple, respectable bag. Again, I was just trying to do the responsible thing and not leave firearms in the car, exposed to thieves. What a headache.

I will never waste my time doing business with this company again. Purchased an on sale item during Black Friday. Waited past the delivery date with no contact. Reached out to the store and was told my ordered was calcelled 2 weeks after I ordered it with no contact to me. Customer service said I can order it again if I want, but the item was no longer available. I should have and will be doing be doing business with a different company in the future.

This stores customer service is awfull. I bought a firearm there a few weeks back, when they went to attach the sight I bought onto it they stripped one of the screws, so they offered to send it to sig sauer for me to fix it, set the site aside for me, and give me a discount on the site. My firearm came back in three weeks later, when I went in to get it they had no recollection of the site being put aside or of then saying they would give me a discount. Ther rep I was working with spoke to the manager who offered to give me a whopping 5%. They forgot to mention that because it’s on sale already they can’t give me the discount nor would they be able to add a military discount. I asked to speak to the manager face to face and I was told she was busy. So I said whatever purchased it and left, and called corporate to let them know what happened, they called the store for me and told me I could go back in and they had resolved the issue for me. When I walked in the manager met me at the front and then again offered me a 5% discount. I have had a long relationship with sportmans warehouse so I am very dissapointed with the yuma stores customer service.

Cool store, seem to have everything you would need.. only allowed to buy 2 boxes of bullets at a time. Rather strict about it.. prices are decent.. no waiting period like California.. 270 shells are in stock but call first.. other ammo runs out fast..
