If you’re looking for a Doctors office that actually cares and has a good follow up and follow through, this IS NOT the place to be. Front office and back office have zero communication between the two, and you will be the one that gets neglected in the process.

A couple of front office staff have been rude in the past. Never really had problems with the NPs. My problem is with medical records lost and the attitude I received when asking about my past records. Anyway, I drive to Bartlett for a wonderful PCP with an online portal so I can view my records.

I see Jena and Dr. Speight and have been a Speight patient for approximately ten years. I think very highly of both Jena and Dr. Speight. In addition the person who is at the front desk and answers the phone is very professional and creates a quiet , pleasant atmosphere which is reassuring when you aren’t well. Overall I would recommend Speights if you are looking for a medical assistance.

I booked an appointment here for my husband for a routine check up. He was prescribed a medication that required a PA from his insurance. This was almost two weeks ago. We still have not gotten the medication (thank god it isn't absolutely needed!) because this office fails to answer the phone and when they do they can hardly give any decent information. Left multiple messages and when he finally was able to get someone on the phone, they didn't do what they said they were going to do. He was told she was sending the PA while they were on the phone but that never happened. Went in person and was told by another person it was done (she even showed the computer) but something somewhere is getting messed up on their end since his insurance has not received anything. Even gave them the option to do a three way phone call to which their answer was that probably isn't necessary. The front desk people on the phone are rude. It is sad because he really did enjoy the doctor but the staffing needs to be changed.

I would give no stars. First my daughter goes up there bc she had a bacterial infection. She’s pregnant and Deanna gives her an antibiotic she can’t even take while pregnant. Thank God I looked it up before she filled it. Second take my youngest daughter up there and she tested positive for Covid and has an ear infection. She refuses to send in a antibiotic for that so my daughter has been suffering all week. Taking her to her regular pediatrician which I should’ve done in the first place. I could say a lot more but I’ll just keep it at these two latest incidences. I do not recommend this practice at all always rushed and doesn’t listen to patients or parents!
Owner: don’t get in here and ask me any questions because you already know! So let’s not go there

THE FRONT DESK STAFF IS HORRIBLE!! STAY AWAY! These people do not need to work with kids or sick people! They treat you horrible!! They need to find another job! Sick people do not come to the DR to be treated bad!! THEY ARE A HORRIBLE FRONT STAFF! I don’t want any of these people giving my 75 year old mother care or my 2 year old grandson! GET A BETTER ATTITUDE WHEN YOU ARE WORKING IN THIS PROFESSION! BE SURE TO READ THE OTHER REVIEWS! I wish I would have before I wasted my time today!

As for the actual DR I can not speak on them my grandson was never seen.

EDIT: PEOPLE BEING LATE OR MISSED APPOINTMENTS DOES NOT JUSTIFY THE BEHAVIOR OF THE FRONT DESK! THINGS HAPPEN….ARE YOU ON TIME OR MAKE EVERY APPT YOU MAKE DO YOU GET TREATED POORLY FOR IT? OBVIOUSLY ITS NOT JUST ME THE FRONT DESK STAFF HAS BEEN RUDE TO! THERE HAVE BEEN OTHER REVIEWS POSTING ABOUT THE FRONT DESK!
SO…..IT CAN NOT BE EVERYONE ELSE….BUT I LOVE HOW YOU CAME ON THE REVIEW AND TRIED TO PLAY NICE WHEN THAT IS NOT HOW YOU WERE ON THE PHONE OR IN PERSON….NOW GO DOWN TO THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS YOU HAVE RECIEVED AND MAKE UP MORE EXCUSES ABOUT YOUR SLOPPY WORK PERFORMANCE!
