Received an off brand electric wheelchair from this place. When the time came for yearly scheduled maintenance, it was found out the motors serial numbers were not correct when ordering new motors. The frame was not flush, and the wheelchair was a little too wide.
Called twice for help when I had a minor issue with the wheelchair, and was was told each time, that's one". The second time I was told "that's two". Like I was on a number of times I could call with a question. Made me feel like now that the sell was done I didn't matter anymore.
Before the sell, everything went smooth. It was after the sell that I had issues with this company.
I have since found another company that does repairs, and answers questions with pleasure.

Doug is supremely flexible, we were able to drop by on short notice to drop off my mom's used scooter. He found a buyer for us fast. He's a great rep to deal with, very insightful, honest, helpful. From now on when we hear of anyone in need of a mobility scooter or power wheelchair, we'll recommend Specialty Medical. Can't go wrong.

This company is awesome. My daughter in law broke her ankle unexpectedly, and was going to try to hobble her way thru my grandson's high school graduation. She was in desperate need of a wheelchair.

I called Doug at Specialty Medical, ( got his info from the internet), and he was most gracious and helpful. I was able to pick up a state of the art wheelchair in time for the graduation. She would never have been able to attend without a wheelchair - there were " miles and miles" of walking, which she could never have managed. And in spite of being last minute, he worked with me on the price!

I would recommend this company any time medical equipment is needed. Doug returns calls almost immediately, and is very responsive to a customer's needs. Plus he has top notch equipment- which he makes sure a customer can easily manage its operation.

It's so refreshing to meet a businessman with ethics, compassion, and good pricing! I don't think you could go wrong with this company.

So genuine, honest and nice! Really good customer service by both Doug and Art. My mom started having problems with her 6 year old mobility scooter and we purchased a new one from Doug at Specialty Medical. We didn't feel pressured into buying anything and he took the time to answer All of my moms questions and even listen to her life story ; ) . Thank you guys again for the Great customer service! We will definitely be letting our friends and family know about Specialty Medical!

I was in need of a wheelchair for an upcoming event and found Specialty Medical through Google. They were the 2nd listing but the first ones I called because of the great reviews. I'm so thankful I did. I spoke with Doug and asked about a 24hr rental and gave him a little background on the situation. Without hesitation, Doug said he wanted to help me out and offered to generously donate the wheelchair for my event. This was huge for me. For years, my life has been on pause due to chronic illnesses and this was an opportunity to enjoy life again. I was nervous about being out again and having the wheelchair gave me the safety net I needed to feel comfortable. The whole process of picking up and returning the chair was so easy. The trust he put in me showed that Doug himself is a trustworthy businessman. Having medical issues usually comes with the pain of navigating a terrible system and breaking the bank. Knowing there's good, honest businesses out there like Specialty Medical takes a little stress out of the process and gives you hope that maybe the next medical encounter will go smoothly. I used Specialty Medical for the first time today and I am just over joyed by the professionalism and fabulous customer service they gave me. They followed through with every call back they said would do and they found a few items not currently in stock but were desperately needed, then delivered in a few short hours. You just don’t see this kind of stellar service from a business anymore. Doug was beyond amazing, professional and caring. Well done!

Talk about service! Doug from Specialty Medical is fantastic. We found ourselves in need of a wheelchair so we called Specialty Medical.
