They continue being involved in your treatment even though you no longer get your services there and you are not seeing anyone involved with it. Requested my discharge plan, which I wasn't given when I left 12 years ago, a month ago still haven't received it. They follow government requirements even if they are ineffective.

I called seeking info on behalf of a friend's family member. The woman I spoke with was professional, articulate, compassionate and very helpful in explaining how the Crisis Unit works - including some if its shortfalls. I feel like the family knows what to expect if they decide to call.

I've called multiple times desperately trying to get an appointment with a mental health specialist. My caseworker was the first to call on Friday December 4th and she got no response. It is now December 12th/13th and I am STILL trying to get some help. I've left voice-mails and only one of them got a return call. I've managed to talk to ONE person in all this time. I don't know what their staff is doing but it darn sure doesn't seem to be working.

SWCMHS of Bridgeport is one of the worse residential programs available. The staff treat patients like children. The bed side manor of some staff are appalling. As a visitor, I’ve personally witnessed staff antagonize residents.

Reps miss scheduled visits, don't call, don't answer their phones, and don't respond to voice mails left. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

i was on hold for about 30 minutes and then the lady that i had spoke too was very rude and hung up on me after i said i did not want to wait 4 months to be seen.I do not recommend!
